Before using shake bottle vigorously for 5-10 seconds. 1 or 2 tablespoonsful in a quarter glass of water at the onset of acid reflux, or one or two quick swallows directly from the bottle (if strong taste of vinegar doesn't bother you).

Once again, natural remedies have proven to be effective and without side effects. If you read your drug inserts that accompany each prescription, you will find that there is additional information which clearly state that some medicines (like PPI's) are not meant to take forever. PPI's, (drug insert) specifically indicate that prolonged use can exacerbate \"arthritis\" like symptoms (I have Fibromyalgia) and the recommendation by the FDA is specific to take it for a limited period of time. But, there is always that little clause they (FDA) use, \"or as otherwise directed by physician\", which protects them from any liability.
