Chesapeake Bay Candle 3-Wick Scented Candle, Evening Tide (Lavender Sea Salt), Coffee Table Jar

The candle comes in a nice frosted container with a composite lid. The smell is natural and at first, maybe a little strong for my small office. Sure to be a holiday favorite but I like it year round. I keep the lid on when not in use but I think the smell is diminishing a bit. But it is a nice smell, the candle burns cleanly and I think it will last a long time. I really enjoy burning it in the morning with an open window. It's a nice way to wake up and invigorate. I'll be looking for more of their candles.

I was looking for a good quality candle for my own home and found this coffee table version from Chesapeake Bay. I ordered the gardenia scent and I am pleased. It smells as one would expect but is not overpowering, there is just a soft scent in the air after the candle had been burning for a while and the scent remains steady as it burns. The white color goes with any decor and I like the rustic look the lid adds. The three wicks are ideal as the candle burns very evenly and clean. I love this candle for my home as it gives off that warm, welcoming vibe and I would purchase more for myself or for gifts. This is also a fairly large candle so I know it will last a while.

I absolutely love burning candles and have them going daily in my kitchen. I especially appreciate candles that have a clean and fresh scent. This candle from Chesapeake does not disappoint. The Bay Cottage scent is nice and crisp smelling. It smells clean but does not have an overpowering scent. I really like the jar it comes in....nice size, sturdy and the frosted glass looks so soothing when lit.I have used it a couple of times and it seems to burn evenly which is always a plus. I can't stand when I buy a candle and it only burns down the middle so you have a ton of wax on the sides of the jar. This would make a great hostess gift as well.

I purchased the coffee table size candle with three wicks in the Blood Orange scent. So when I review a product I give context. We have a pretty open floor plan where the kitchen opens into the dinning room (where I place candles) & into the living room with large arched doorways. Because of this the scent isn't contained into one room. The scent is mild & a nice background scent, not overpowering. Though the description lists several citrus/fruit oils as the primary scents it definitely has a floral scent (passion flower only floral listed). Love the idea of cleaning out the wax & repurposing the container it is quite cute. The quality of the wax seems to be good, even melting. Issues with the description: wood lid (composite board, really thick/dense cardboard), "candles should not be burned for more than 4 hours at a time" per amazon description (bottom of jar says 2 hours). General rule candles should burn one hour for every 1" in diameter of the candle. When burning candles if you don't let them burn till the wax is melted to the edges it creates a pool or indentation, this then limits the life of the candle as it won't ever melt further out then that point. This candle is close to 5" across, exceeding the 2 hour (per label) & 4 hour (per amazon description).

Love this product and this is why. I love that how this candle went out on its own. Even though it’s not recommended to leave a candle on I stepped out and forget I left it lit. I came back and I saw it was to the very bottom and nothing happened, thank god. I once had a cheap 3 wick candle like this the candle burned through the glass and left a huge circle of burned wood in my coffee table. However this candle is very well scented it lasts long and the wooden top just makes it look so good in my living room.

I bought this scent in a smaller version at a gift shop, by chance, and loved it, and then so happy I found it on Amazon. It’s not a sweet, flowery smell, which is why I like it. It’s also a good quality candle that burns nicely and the container is nice if you were to use it as a gift.

this is a great candle! it burns beautifully clean, if you follow the "do not burn longer than two hours" rule. that way the wax doesn't pool too deep and the wicks (three of them) don't get buried in the melted wax. the aroma is a lovely earthy smoky (like pipe tobacco) profile. and it lingers through my room even after the candle has been extinguished! I love that. I noticed even when I got up the next day that there was a soft linger of the leathery aroma. would definitely buy this again!

This candle looks great. It is clearly nice quality and burning slowly. The smell is the problem. It does not smell like a “beach bonfire”. Unlit or lit it smells very strongly like aftershave. Not in a good way either. I guess with the quality and ~20$ price I’m stuck hanging out with a grandpa’s aftershave essence around my house. Not ideal.
