DW Drum Workshop SM505 Drop Loc Hi-Hat Clutch

I use to have my hi-hats slipping all the time and now they don’t ! Worth the money. Perfect fit. Functions the way it suppose to. Easy to assemble

It’s everything you would expect from DW. A perfect solution for when you want to play double bass with a closed hi hat on your left side. Great quality. All you have to do is give the little lever a smack with the stick and you are all set for double bass with a closed high hat. To open the hats back up again, just step on the foot pedal. Very easy, solid product. I highly recommend it

This is a nice clutch. That's really all I can say. The material and construction is obviously done on the cheap, and the thing even came with the wrong sized allen wrench. No instructions, either.Note: this clutch did not work with my yamaha electronic hat anti-rotation gizmo (if you own them you know what I mean.) So I had to go the old route of using extra felts and cranking down to stop the rotation. On an electronic hat there is one strike zone around the logo, and if that moves you get quieter and quieter or you chase it around. Yamaha sells anti-rotation gizmos for their electronic cymbals, but they are not compatible with this clutch.

it didn't come with instructions, but needs them, after opening the package i used my powers of logic 1 minuet later it was all set on my hihat, it works good, i had some issues with it at 1st because it wouldn't stop spinning around the hihat rod, so i just spinned the drop till it got stuck and placed a 2nd nut just in case, spinned it a few angels and placed it in a position im comfortable with.Im very happy with this drop clutch, i might not even buy a 2nd pair of hihats... but who knows i like cymbals!!!

Does what it's suppose to do. Totally pleased with the functionality of the clutch. Didn't have any issues with it.
