AniMed Purepsyll 100-Percent Psyllium Husks for Horses, 3-Pound

Both my horses refused to eat the pellet form of psyllium so I switched to powder. Even with molasses on the pellets they refused to eat them. Our barn gets windy so the key is adding water to your pysllium powder so it doesn't blow away and mix it in with the whatever hay pellets or grain you normally give your horse. Yes, it does get gooey (like gelatin) but that is the whole purpose of the pysllium. It clumps up and pulls sand from your horses' gut and out the other end. It literally has no flavor and mixes in well. Been using this for a couple years now and have recommended it to others who have now switched successfully to feeding this form vs. the pellets.

I should not have ordered the powder. It goes everywhere when my horse puts his nose in the bucket! It becomes gummy and sticky on my horse's mouth. My mistake. I will finish the supply, but next time i will find a pelleted product
