As stated elsewhere, these are NOT styrofoam - they're what's commonly referred to as smooth foam (beadfoam/EPS). Which is fine by me, I prefer it - but just know what you're getting when you order these. Also, if you are looking for something that's very accurately 1 inch in diameter, these are not it - they're not even 15/16ths of an inch. They MIGHT be 25mm (1 inch = 25.4mm). But if you're buying foam balls, you probably don't care that they're a bit less than 1". They are fine for what I needed. You should know they came shipped in a padded plastic envelope - not very well protected against getting crushed/dented - I got lucky and they were mostly undamaged.

Imagine the most delicious bowl of spaghetti and meatballs you have ever had…that’s what these foam balls helped create. I dabbled a little paint on the balls and they came to life…I created a work of art, a masterpiece…the most scrumptious bowl of pasta and balls one could imagine, and my babies only ripped off half the balls on their costume. But really, they were perfect for creating a DIY Halloween costume.

Very sturdy , will order again

We used them but they came smashed because they were in a bag package. Sides were flattened making it hard to complete our craft. Too many tiny pieces and not enough medium size.
