5 Stars for sale price. 0 Stars for overheating.Update
I purchased this at the sale price of $1250 which makes this a steal. Just to buy the components yourself would run about $1700. At the full price of just over $2000 I would recommend you look around at other alternatives, as I will explain in the cons.Pros: 1) Sale Price!!!!2) The gaming performance has been better than expected. I can play Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2019 on a 1440p, 144Hz, monitor at High setting with HDR and Ray Tracing enabled. There is no stuttering or other problems. It is very smooth play. I can also play Shadow of the Tomb Raider and Metro Exodus with HDR and Ray Tracing enabled at High setting, with the same smooth game play.3) So far no overheating. The graphics card is a single blower/exhaust type which is necessary in this compact case with only two exhaust fans. The graphics card never went over 84 centigrade and the cpu never went over 77 centigrade. Considering the very limited airflow these are very acceptable, but not good temperatures.4) There are two slots that are prewired for 3.5 inch drives, allowing for easy storage expansion.5) 750 watt platinum power supply unit which is more than you will need, even with future upgrades.6) The compact case is attractive and it feels very solid and well built.7) The included software allows for some nice RGB color schemes.Cons 1) At full price I would look at other systems in the same price range.2) Because of the single blower card that hits 84 degrees (these cards throttle down at 88 degrees) there is almost no headroom to overclock. When I played a more demanding game at 4k, the graphics card would overheat and throttle down resulting in noticeable artifacting.3) There is one 92 mm exhaust fan at the rear of the case and a 120 mm fan at the top for the radiator of the water cpu cooler. That is it and there is no room for any other fans. Part of the floor is for air intake with a removable screen. No way to attach a fan there. Also the floor of the case is only 5 mm high, allowing for very limited air flow.4) There is one 16 gb ddr4 -2666 memory module which is adequate. But this is dual channel memory. It would have been better to have two 8 gb modules to get the full speed of the dual channel memory, although this will not affect gaming performance much. For all these cons I would recommend looking at alternatives with a case with better cooling and airflow to allow for more overclocking headroom, as well as a RTX 2080 Super dual or triple blower graphics card. You can find a system like that in the same full price range.Update: After 2 months of use I would not recommend this system. It has very poor thermal performance because of the lack of airflow. Playing demanding games at higher resolutions and higher quality settings results in the graphics card and/or cpu hitting their thermal limits, which then results in throttling down or the crashing of the games. This has happened repeatedly. Short of replacing the case, this is a deal breaker. At the $2000 price point I would recommend looking at other systems. I hope this has been helpful.

High performance in a small package
This PC is smaller than I thought it would be. Runs whatever you want lightning fast, it came very protected and lodged in the box, so I can safely say that my worries about buying my first pre-built gaming PC and it being on a UPS truck going around to who know's where were for naught. I had originally looked at IBuyPower and CyberPowerPC for my first pre-built. I went with HP because for the price, and components listed, I felt like I wouldnt get cheaped out on things like RAM, the brand of the GPU, and the PSU, low and behold this PC has a HyperX 16 GB stick of ram, on one stick, no big deal. The PSU is a 80+ PLATINUM which really surprised me. I couldn't tell the brand of GPU but all my games I've run so far are going waaaayyy over 100 FPS, I play on 1080p. Inside this machine is super clean and everything is so well organized, I took a quick look inside to see if anything was maybe disconnected from shipping or things like that I've seen on other PC reviews when I was browsing for one, nothing was wrong with mine at all. It started up instantly and is really quiet. I had to download the latest drivers for the GPU from Nvidia which was quick and easy. The one thing I did notice about this PC is that when you're playing a game that draws alot of GPU, the GPU can get warm pretty quick, you have to download MSI Afterburner or another software program so you can adjust the fan curve easily, after that, I was having no issues with this PC, temps on really demanding games at ultra didn't go past 74, and I only have the fans at 80%. I'm just happy that I chose this PC because it's perfect for me. I was worried about getting a pre-built but it was just me being in my head and overthinking, this is a great pre-built if you're looking for one.

Overheating
If all I'm doing is surfing, watching Youtube videos, etc etc, it works fine. If I bump it at all, I mean even the slightest bump, all the fans kick into high gear, and the screen goes dark. Only thing I can do to get it back is to unplug the power in the back, and restart. I can only assume it's overheating at that point...otherwise the fans wouldn't kick on like that. The integral sound is crap. I don't even think it's stereo. No expansion slots...I mean none on the mobo at all... to allow you to add a dedicated sound card either.

SCAM!! Incorrect Processor
We ordered this computer with the i7-9700k processor. The box even stated 9700k.After having this all set up,we find out it only has a i7-7700 inside!!This is slower than the system it should be replacing! Amazon wont even give me a credit to get the correct processor!Do not trust HP or Amazon!

Good System but not so stellar support
The system was decently priced, with good internals and a full compliment of software. it's plenty fast for its intended purpose and expandable enough to keep it relevant for years to come. However, it suffers for one flaw that its kind of important for a system of this price: The HP-built in recovery solution doesn't work with this system. Yes, you heard it right. HP Cloud Recovery Tool lists this fairly new system as unsupported (I asked HP and they sent me an USB with recovery software that did not work either). This is a big deal if you need to wipe your system for whatever reason and an even bigger deal if you are technically un-savvy. Thank God the built in windows 10 recovery solution works, but this an egregious oversight for a system in this price bracket.
