Bonsaii Paper Shredder, 18-Sheet 60-Minutes Shredder for Office Heavy Duty Cross-Cut Shredder with 6 Gallon Pullout Basket 4 Casters(C149-C)

My 20 year old office max shredder is dying and can only shred single sheets for about 5 min before overheating; so, bought this shredder (bonsai C149-C) and man what a beast! I can shred 6-8 pages continuously for an hour before even fan comes on. Place a kitchen garbage liner in and simply pull out very dense finely chopped ‘chips’. Excellent shredder and very happy with its performance.

Used shredder as soon as I received and easily set it up. Shredded two big boxes of papers without problems. It never overheated, but as a precaution I did take breaks during shredding. Pleased with product and would buy again.

I received this shredder today and have only one word…AMAZING! I retired 2 1/2 years ago and lost my ability to use the big industrial shredder at work and my shredding bins are overflowing. I have a little one that is about 15 years old and on its last leg. I desperately needed to clear out files and get my home office in order so I decided it was time to upgrade. I read the reviews on this one and thought I’de give it a whirl. I couldn’t be happier with this purchase! My shredder arrived at 10:00 a.m. and I started using it at 10:30 a.m. Other than a break for supper I used this thing ALL.DAY.LONG and just finished my project at 11:00 p.m. I shredded 4 big lawn and leaf bags full! It never overheated, it never jammed and although it’s not super quiet it’s a lot quieter than my old one. It took staples and did a few old credit cards as well. I didn’t push it with the full 18 pages it’s supposed to be able to handle but most of the time had 5-10 pages. Granted it wasn’t non stop shredding. There were short breaks as I sorted through old files and such but otherwise I was pretty much using this thing for about 12 hours straight. I have bought a lot of things off Amazon but this is the first time I have felt compelled to write a review. This shredder came packaged very nicely too! I’m pretty impressed overall and would highly recommend this shredder to anyone.

I had mine for 7 years and it just quit, no more power to the unit so not quite sure what's going on but 7 years isn't too bad for the price.

Very good machine, shreds cardboard, staples any thing you can fit in. Nothing lasts forever so when I need to replace it I’ll replace it with the same one.

Solid construction, and it chews through paper with ease. I have used it for up to 30 minutes with no overheating or paper jams. I get tired of shredding papers before it does.The one I got was the cross cut model. Unless you have top secret documents, nobody is going to put the little pieces back together again.

This is working well for us. My wife uses it and is very happy. You have to be a little careful not to shred to many sheets at once, this will jam it.
