excellent book with added details on how such components as power valve's function and purpose during a vacuum lull and particular situations that might arise such as starting an engine an hour later when the engine is still warm but the choke might be closed again. There are many additional details on taking down the carb and cleaning not covered by any of the other books I have on the Holley Carb.

I actually ordered this book before I realized that the carb on my car was a Weber. Nonetheless I decided to sit down with it an see if it could help me anyway. Boy it did! Firstly the book gets you into a very important chapter about tools and how to use them. This alone is highly valuable information that makes the book worthwhile for me. I now know how to make better use of my tools and what really makes a tool better. Onto the carbs. The book also goes very well into how a carburetor works, the exact physics of it. Yet it's still written in a manner that anyone can grasp. For me I thought I had real trouble with my carb, I kept thinking that the jets and delivery system were fouled beyond help. Turned out to be the idle circuit bleed screw just had debris built up and preventing the engine from idling. She now runs better than ever and I have this book to thank for that. Really saved my bacon. I've learned that as long as you take on a carb job carefully and wisely you can come out a winner.

Excellent, with clear directions, diagrams, and photos. Rebuilding your old Holley? Buy this book. I used it to rebuild several Holley-Webers.

I ordered this manual and instead received accelerator pump shot. I guess I can use this but still, I do not know how because I have no manual.

Another addition to my shop set of tools. Love It! Couldn't wait to get the book open. Full of excellent information pertaining to what I do which is work on carburetors.

its very dificult to follow if your not a learned carb scholar. I think it would be a fantastic reference in a prof. garage, its not as handy for a single car owner.

In the traditional of all Haynes books stuffed with information and it all there if you look for it. Cant say any better really.

Book was a good price and was a very helpfull reference tool when I rebuilt my Holley 4160. I would definitely recommend this book!
