Short Power Extension Cord US AC 2-Prong Male/Female Power Cable (YEKE-207-1FT)

This is exactly what I needed to extend a TV cable to the plug after placing it through a cable cover. The cover stretched the cord out enough to make me uncomfortable, so I bought this to fix that. So far so good. I must note that, while I didn't think about it at the time, it does indeed have the male end as POLARIZED. Worked out in my favor but others should take note since the description has not been updated.

I needed a short cord instead of one of the big ones, and this works perfectly. Make sure you buy the one with the polarized end that you need, as there are two different types that are sold.

I never write reviews but honestly I needed to write one for this product because I had to find a solution to a custom bed frame that I had and was having an impossible time finding a resolution to my problem. I had some plugs that were identical to these but for some reason could not find them anywhere online (everything nowadays is 3 prong or too wide for what I needed it for). I ended up purchasing two of these to replace the ones that were their prior that had blown our from an item that had the improper voltage. I ended up plugging these two into a separate mountable surge protector that I mounted to the bed frame and honestly I couldn’t be happier! Works wonders and serves its purpose! So happy to have my bed charger back up and working again!

I needed a compact plug to fit in the back of the TV to plug in the gadgets. This worked like a charm.

The product description is incorrect. It states “Female end is polarized but male end is not”, but this is not true — both the female AND the male end are polarized.

I ordered 2 of these for special non-polarized outputs off an amplifier. The written description indicated the male ends were not polarized. The ones I received had polarized male and female ends. The description also indicated 1.6 ft. in length. The ones I received were 2 ft. long. I ground down the polarized prong in order to make it fit.

The cord is as described. Seems to be built well enough and works for what I need it.

I used these to extend my Christmas lights in order for them to reach my power outlets indoors. Perfect size I needed.
