The Tv will only last 2 years with light to moderate use. As well is not full HD and the HDMI ports in these tv tend to fail. So hooking up an amazon fire stick or tv will expect it to go out. This tv is very poor quilty. The engineers and manufacturers drop the ball with this model.

We didn't buy this TV from Amazon, but we currently have it as a (substandard) replacement for our Philips while it is being replaced. We were surprised to find out that the sound quality of this set is better than ours- but the refresh rate us so horrible that it's difficult to watch anything. It's very "choppy" on TV shows (sitcoms, news, etc) and commercials which makes it so very hard to watch but it's not "choppy" on live TV (specifically sports). However, the picture is crisp, and I attribute that to the backlight settings. Picture setup on our Philips was a breeze because it could be set up based on your own personal visual preferences but this one is simply a sliding numbers scale. The warmth scale is difficult to find in the settings menu quickly which ultimately doesn't allow for quick changes between movies and sports, for example. There are 3 HDMI ports, which is great for gaming systems and Blu-ray players, but there's only one hookup for other things like standard DVD (or VHS) players, satellite boxes, or older gaming systems. I have a combo DVD/VCR and an original NES and PS1 and switching cords back and forth gets really annoying.Overall, I'd only recommend this TV if you plan to watch live HDTV. Otherwise, you could get something better for (not too much more) of your money.

Good deal for the money. Picture seems good to me. At this screen size almost any TV looks great. Buy it.

Love this television, great picture.

There is nothing good about this television. It won't display anything using my hdmi cable. I've tried from my PC and PS4 all available resolutions. Both PC and PS4 work on other an LG 1080p using the same HDMI cable. Please save yourself frustration and spend an extra $150 for a far superior television

After my 4K Vizio TV went out, this TV made wonders by still working after 3 years. For those new to Magnavox, before they were acquired from Funai Japan, they were once a leading AMERICAN company. Magnavox still holds the legend of being the first Television manufacture of whom made the first video game system in 1972 the Magnavox Odyssey! This legend competed with the Atari 2600 "video computer system" from 1972-1980.

I had this TV for less than 2 years and the power supply blew.
