The latch assembly would often release the fixed end of the belt. I cured this by trimming the belt to the proper length, fastening the fixed end and then applying flexible glue to secure the latch assembly to the fixed end of the belt.The elastic is good and helps hold shorts or trousers up. There are no metal parts so the belts are suitable for swimming is saltwater.If you need a water resistant belt that stretches, this is a good choice.

I love that they are elastic, not too stretchy, but enough to help while bending over & while in motion.Not just for golfers.

I bought these mainly because some airports still require you to take off your belt is it has a metal buckle. These are exempt from that requirement. After wearing them, they quickly became my daily got o belts due to the comfort, styling and versatility. They look good with jeans, Khakis, shorts, etc. The stretch feature on this version provides extra comfort. Just stretchy enough while still being very supportive.

I only wish you could buy them individually, my husband doesn't wear or want the black belt.

I have been on the lookout for a good belt for about a year or so. I bought 2 or 3 belts from a big box store before I stumbled across this belt online. The big-box store belts were too rigid & the hole structure simply did not work out personally for me.I was hesitant before buying an elastic belt because I had never purchased one before. I did my research & narrowed it down to this belt as my choice. When I received the belts (black & khaki) I was apprehensive about cutting wrong & ruining the belts. So I tried them on first & miracle of miracles - they both fit without having to do any surgery on them.I have been using both belts for about a month now & I am completely satisfied with both of them. I love the concept of shipping two belts in two different colors, too. I sometimes need my black belt, of course, but my khaki goes better with my choice of slacks - khaki. A brown or dark brown belt never felt like the right choice for me.If I ever need a belt or if anyone I know does, I will whole-heartedly recommend this company.

After buying a stretchy belt, I realized it works wonders at actually keeping my pants up when I bent over. I bought these and love them. They work great and help prevent my butt-crack from showing when I bend over. The "buckle" part does come off fairly easy, which is great when I was adjusting the size. But for my day to day use, the buckle sometimes comes off. It's easy to put on, so not the end of the world. Just mildly annoying. Overall, I would still buy these belts again
