Excellent product, outstanding customer service
One measurement of the quality of a product is the quality of the customer service that you receive. Phil&teds has exceptional customer service! We purchased the original Metoo Portable High Chair years ago and used it as our primary high chair for both of our older children. They were able to stay in it until they were ready for a booster seat at the table. We loved it so much that it was our go-to gift for all of our friends who were having babies. When our third child was born last year we couldn't wait to break out the Metoo high chair. In the process of getting it cleaned up and ready I checked online to see if there was any information about the chair since it had been a few years since we had used it. I knew about the updated Lobster, but we were loyal to the original. I found that there had been a recall on the chair in 2011. Despite us NEVER having any issues with our chair, I emailed phil&teds to request the fix-it kit they had developed to restore the safety of the chair. This is when the exceptional customer service comes in. Shannon got right back to me and the repair kit arrived at my house in just a few days. The kit instructions were very easy to understand and it did seem to improve the stability of the chair. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to complete the upgrade because of a stripped screw. I emailed Shannon again asking for advice on what to do and again she got right back to me. She instructed me to file a claim on their website (very easy) and they would send me a new chair. I felt truly valued as a customer! It is because of this outstanding customer service that I wanted to write this review. In the process of researching the safety update for the original chair, I decided to purchase a Lobster chair, so I am able to review it as well. Even though these chairs are very easy to move from one location to another, because it is our primary high chair we like to have 2 so that one can be at our breakfast counter and one can be at our dinner table. The Lobster is an improvement on the original chair in every way. The pocket of the chair is deeper and the back of the chair is less deep, so the baby is more enclosed and secure. The handles that tighten the clamps are more substantial, so they are easier to use. I also love that it comes with a bag. Like its predecessor, I can tell that the Lobster will be our "go-to" for years to come.

Amazingly convenient
We HAD to buy one after going out with friends who had one already! This is so easy to use and so convenient. It puts baby at the counter or table with you. It is easily stored and super portable. Appears to be comfortable for our little one too! Only slightly negative thing I can say is that the tray is easily moveable and doesn't lock in place. Overall, we love this lobster clip on high chair seat!

The most amazing high chair ever!
We don't have kids, but now that we are 30, all of our friends do. The lobster chair is the only thing we buy for baby shower gifts, and every time we do the other parents or parents-to-be ask for one!Of course, you don't need children to play with a new purchase, so before giving it away I opened the box and hooked it up to our table (See the picture I included). This thing is great! It folds up into a very easy to transport size, I would imagine you'd keep this in your car or in the storage pouch on your stroller. The fabric case has a couple of handles for ease of transport. It attaches to a table in a snap, and holds on tight. The seat is secure and deep enough that your kid won't topple out, but if you are worried or you have a particularly bouncy child, there are shoulder straps that are well padded but very secure. The included tray attaches easily and is nice if you want to protect the table surface from banging utensils or spills.I don't know if we are going to have kids, but if we do, we are certainly going to buy one of these (or two) for ourselves. STRONGLY recommended. As always, please leave any questions you have in the comments, and I'll get to them quickly. Cheers!

Bought a second as a gift
I saw someone at a restaurant with one of these while I was pregnant with my daughter and ordered it immediately. We used this chair until our daughter was just too big to fit in it. We loved it so much, we just bought a second one as a baby shower gift! The portability of this chair makes dining or traveling with your little one a little less stressful. It’s super sturdy and works on the majority of tables and countertops. It wipes down pretty easily too. Don’t hesitate-click buy!

Great chair!
We originally purchased the Inglesina Fast Chair but I was frustrated with the fact that it had no tray and there was a gap between the chair and table. After having multiple gel mats flung to the floor and food shoved into the gap and onto the floor I purchased the lobster chair. I have used it for three days (we use it in lieu of a stand alone high chair) and am satisfied with how easily it attached and the tray. No more dents in my table from slammed bottles and no more flying mats. Hooray! Several people complained how easily the tray slides out. I have not found this to be a problem. In the future if little one decides shoving it forward is fun I will slip a piece of non-slip matting under the tray. The bucket seat is a little deep in order to accompany kids of all sizes. My little one is on the small size so I folded a towel and put it in the seat to boost him up a bit. Eventually I will not need the towel. Over all I am satisfied with this chair. It packs up compactly, is easier and less bulky than the Inglesina, has a tray and sits little one closer to the table. Win, win.
