Minus one star because these should not be considered reusable for food. Otherwise, for $15, I got several single- use vacuum-seal bags, the vacuum pump ( which will only be useful for these bags because I'll be discarding them after using them in my sous vide cooker and not buying any more...) and 3 handy clips for keeping bags from floating around during cooking. A pricey lesson but not the most money I've ever wasted. If you camp a lot, they'd certainly be worth having and reusing for waterproofing things like first aid items, cameras, etc.Hopefully, the photo shows the food residue on the bag, even after I scrubbed it with a scrubby sponge. One side of the interior has a rough nap to it which collected minute food particles. The corners of the bag do not evert sufficient to thoroughly clean to my satisfaction. With the long, low cooking temps of sous vide, I am reluctant to risk contamination by re-using them.For sous vide cooking, I recommend getting a vacuum sealer. I have one; I just thought something marketed as a "sous vide" bag would be different so I bought these. I'm new to sous vide cooking and can already see that regular heat-sealed, single-use vacuum bags are the way to go.Bottom line: quality-wise, they are fine for single-use food storage or multi-use non-food item waterproofing.Price-wise, it's better to invest in a heat/vacuum sealer for food. You can buy far more bags on a roll for the money. I won't be buying these again.

The first time I bought it was necessary to return because some time later there was air in the bag again. They sent me again and I decided to give it a second chance and it was the best choice I made. I just used it and it worked perfectly. I have been using sous vide for a while and have tried many different bags, but this is one of the best. It protects food while cooking and the vacuum remains to the end, making the most of sous vide. For marinade is also perfect. I am impressed by the price compared to the advantages this product offers. This will surely be part of my kitchen.

These are great bags, the pump works well. I love the addition of the clips it came with. They can be a little hard to clean because of the lining inside, however, it makes them thick which is a good thing for the Sous Vide. They just need a little extra dawn soap to get them good as new!

Exactly what I was expecting. I needed something I could use for my burgers and vegetables without using a vacuum sealer. I've used zip lock bags before, but have problems getting all the air out. The bags with definitely helps.

The bags are pretty thick and maintain their seal while cooking, perfect for sous vide. The included clips work well for securing the food to the side if the container. Only down side, would probably be 4.5 starts if that was possible, is that so far I have not had any luck washing the bags; they are pretty much single use. I cooked pork chops and it would have taken forever to scrub off the film/residue left in the bags.

Takes a couple pumps to get the vacuum started on the bag.

Missing the very specific pump, so I basically can’t use the bags.
