Volleyball Antenna (PR)

It wasn't clear to me from the product description whether these were the standard antennae I was looking for, but they're great, solid, and the whole set seems well constructed. We needed velcro fasteners rather than the type with screw mounts because our nets are older and patched together, but I was worried they'd be lightweight and fragile.The two pieces of the antenna screw together tightly, and when assembled, the antenna extends the 32" above the net that they're supposed to. The pocket is snug - its easier to leave the bottom half of the antenna rather than reinsert it every time you put your net up. The velcro seems to be holding up well.

I run a 4 court gym that does nearly exclusively volleyball with high usage every day of the week. Over the past few years we have probably bought net antennas from every major manufacturer, including Tachikara, Tandem, Porter, etc.ALL of the clamp style antennas are junk IMHO and not any single brand lasted through more than a few months of use. Sometimes the clamp at the top of the net would break, but most often, the break would appear at the bottom of the antenna, generally where the metal rod inserts into the plastic bottom housing/clamp. I probably have 20 sets of broken antennas in the equipment closet!Last October, 2012, I finally decided that if I had to replace them every few months, I'd rather do so with sub-$50 antennas than $100 antennas. We purchased 4 sets of these, and amazingly, over a year later we're still using the same ones! I highly recommend these and hope that every one simply stops buying the poorly designed and poorly manufactured clamp style antennas until someone comes up with a design that is durable and will actually last.

Overall great product. Very sturdy. Only gave 4 stars cause I wish the sleeve had a second opening for storing the top half of the antenna. Would make it easier for transporting and would be less likely to damage screw in threads while not in use.But again, overall great product. Just got to figure out what to use as a storage bag.

I ordered these antennaes for a middle school volleyball team. The quality of the items was impeccable. I would definitely recommended this product for any school or club

The bottom part of the antenna already broke, I think the material is too thin

Really well made poles. My ONE concern is that they use closely machined threaded connectors. For beach use, you need to keep them scrupulously clean or they will sieze up.

Don't like that the antennas have to be screwed together and apart. Also didn't like that the sleeve can only store one part or antenna at a time. The fiberglass started coming off the antennas. Reached out to number on site but no one to assist

Very nice quality and durable. Plenty of Velcro to attache to the top and bottom of the net. did NOT move around once fastened. The antennas screwed together and slipped into the the slotted area for the bottom half of the pole.I would recommend this set for anyone that needs foul polls for their volleyball games.

Buen producto, son de buen tamaño y calidad me agrado, que incluye los sujetadores con Velcro ya que son muy practicos, hasta el momento no he tenido ningún problema

Initially we were happy about this purchase. Seemed sturdy and of good quality: well constructed sleeve and velcro, strong fiberglass antenna... However after a year of use (but only1x/wk), BOTH antenna broke and in the same place! While the fiberglass is strong, the connection point is poorly designed and will break.
