These work great as tray tables for when we have company over or are doing family movie night.They comfortably sit on the lap and are very sturdy. The lightweight bean-bag type bottom contours itself to you lap.These are light, big enough for food and a beverage (in cupholder) and store/stow away easily. This is just what I was looking for. This lap desk is comfortable, light weight, and of excellent size. Both my tablets and my computer fit nicely, and do no slip off because of the strip at the bottom. The top is a beautiful white marble design which is very attractive. The cup holder is a bonus and holds my soft drinks! This makes for an excellent replacement for my real desk. No longer do I have to sit there to write for the news source I work for. Sitting in the recliner in front of the television is much more comfortable. Great product! I recommend it to anyone looking for a very functional and well-made lap desk!

I know I should have measured out the size before buying... I really did expect it to be a bit wider. Regardless, it works well for my purposes - using my laptop casually on the couch or in bed. Eating on it is not easy. The material under the desk is nice. Feels like it's filled with bean bag beads and therefore conforms to your lap nicely.

I wanted a lap desk that would allow me to sit in my living room chair to read the news on my iPad. I also wanted to occasionally eat a meal with it. This one is attractive, sturdy, and a good size. Cup holder is a nice touch, as is the bumper that keeps iPad corralled.

This is my third purchase of this same model of lapgear. First I bought two for my high school twins so they could use them for homework. Then I bought one for myself. Now, about four years later, I bought this one for my 12 y/o grandson. We are all still using ours. Nothing has broken. No beads have come out. Everything in great shape. Things we use them for include homework, doing my monthly budget, meals, watching movies on laptop or phone, sorting meds, etc. It adjusts well on your lap. Very light weight, which is a huge plus. The carry handle is also very convenient. The only thing I wish is that I could still find the other more colorful designs. I bought my grandson the marble one, but I think he would have liked the one that had a scenic background. Regardless, I know he'll get lots of use out of it. I can't live without mine.

Absolutely love my new lap desk table it's so perfect for everything! It has so many multiple uses. It is the perfect weight & thickness. It is extremely sturdy and nice & level. Love that it has a cup holder which you can use for multiple things when not using it for your drinks. I didn't know if I would like the little white bar along the bottom of the table but you hardly notice that it's there & it's so helpful when you have your plate of food on your table it keeps your plate from sliding off if you happen to adjust your table on your lap. It also keeps your laptop from sliding off too. It's very helpful & convenient. You definitely get the best value for you money! I love the fact that it's portable and it has a nice carrying strap handle & you can take it anywhere with you. I couldn't be happier with it! I highly recommend this multi-purpose lap desk!

I gave this for a birthday gift to a friend and he uses it everyday. Very useful item.

La planche est bien dans son ensemble (bonnes dimensions, bon coussin, bonne qualité). Cependant, le panneau est très glissant, ce qui peut faire glisser les assiettes, bols ou autres en dehors de la planche si elle est légèrement en angle. À faire attention.

Es la segunda que compro y me han funcionado muy bien porque la forma de almohada es cómodano lastima tenerla en las piernas y me la paso trabajando en mi sillón por horas.

Love this lap cushion. I use it with my Surface Pro, my iPad, and sometimes for just writing. It is very comfortable on my lap. Not too big, heavy, or cumbersome. I like the slight curve cutout at the base so you can pull it flush into the stomach area. There is enough space on the side for my mouse (with an 11 inch computer), and the stopper bar prevents it from sliding down. Couldn’t be more pleased with this lap desk.Highly recommend it.

I expected wood for about $50 not this cheap product. My spouse loves it but he doesn't know I paid $50 for it. You could probably go to a store and pay about half that for a similar product.

Bought it as a gift for my wife who likes to play sudoku while we watch tv. Room for a drink and the remote etc. Our cat resents it. Laps are for her.
