This is a travel stand used for interior shots with lightweight flash or continuous light source
It is of paramount importance for me to only bring lightweight stuff in my check in bag for my trip overseas due to costly overweight baggage. I got this in my check in bag and it fit nicely in the inner side of the bag. Being a solo shooter with no assitant, this stand is a Godsend to put a light on and help me achieve the lighting style that I wanted and would not have been easy holding the light on my hand while shooting with the camera on another. For those complaining about this light is not sturdy or survive daily use, please be logical. This is not your studio C stand that you use for your daily shoot nor it is an outdoor stand that sustain heavy wind. This is a light yet strong stand for you to use indoor when you have a lightweight flash unit or LED source that you need to mount on to achieve directional light. If you have two of these stand and a light aluminum pole, you can use it like a background set up but mount your flash in the middle of the pole with a c-clamp and you have yourself a top light with softbox that can achieve beautiful soft directional light. That is not my style but for what I need this stand to do, it performed well and I get the light I wanted on my project thanks to this handy and light yet well-built stand.

Perfectly lite and compact tripod stands. I use these with theFotoconic Pro 10 Feet/3M Aluminum Alloy 3 Section Telescopic Background Support Cross Arm Crossbar for my quilt displays.

A game changing light stand, well built and light weight
I would laugh at the idea of buying a $100 light stand like this one, when I can get 5 light stands here on Amazon for the same price. However, upon testing out this carbon fiber light stand, I don't think I can go back to the cheap ones anymore. Not only that this light stand is very light weight, it is secure enough for most compact flash and speedlight (the popular Godox AD200 for example). I do have to point out that it won't be a C-stand replacement for serious commercial work, but this light stand is not in that market. This is for photographers who love to shoot outdoor and would like to reduce the excess weight as much as possible. The movement and locking mechanism of this light stand is very smooth. Overall, I would definitely recommend this for any photographer out there and I do think that carbon fiber light stand like this will be very popular soon.

Great travel light stand!
More than what i expected. I use the Manfrotto Nano stand for travel but this stand will be replacing the nano stand. This stand is lightweight and decent enough for what I use it for. I pair it up with Godox v860ii + Magsphere + collapsible umbrella diffuser or a westcott rapidbox and it holds up pretty well. Also fits my Brevite backpack which allows for a lightweightpackage for OCF shooting.

Very flimsy
This is very flimsy. If you’re looking to put any light with a weight on it you may as well look somewhere else. This is good for maybe a small light or a reflector but other than that I’ll pass

It's extremely light and compact! Maybe too light
Quick note: I didn't receive a strap to attach a weighted bag, but I can add my own no bi deal. Not sure if it was supposed to or not.I usually travel with 3 Manfrotto Nano's which have about the same footprint and fold-down size as these but are a tad heavier. These are extremely light and almost feel cheap but I think that's just because of the design. I wouldn't put any medium-size or large modifiers on there or any strobes but I do use them with my Amaran HR672's which seems to be about the max.One thing I'm a little worried about and that might make me go back to my Nano's is the rivets used as they are not adjustable. So if they come loose or break I'm screwed. Others have replaceable and can be tightened with an Allen wrench. I guess time will tell. So far so good.

Light weight and easy to travel with.
Love my light stand. I get a lot of use of it because it’s easy to put on the side of my camera bag and take it everywhere with me. Also, thanks for the quick delivery!
