Pre use maintenance
Great product, but easy to think you’ve cross threaded it. My suggestion would be when you first get it work it by rotating the key back-and-forth several times to get the paint off of the threads a little bit. After you do that blow the shaving out of the threads and repeat a couple time and it will screw on and off as intended to.

creative idea to secure utility trailer
Easy to handle and use when securing the trailer when not in use. Handy bungie type cord allows keeping the ball with the trailer at all times.

Bad locking mechanism
Product would not unlock and ended up breaking the key inside of it. Had the cut the lock apart with a grinder.

Easy to use
Very easy to install. Fits 1-7/8” or 2” ball. The zip tie it comes with is brittle so grab an extra one.

Ball too small
The ball is too small to fit in a standard travel trailer hitch. Kind of pointless.
