I used to align my tires. I'm working on my front end and didn't want to pay for an alignment until I finished. This was very helpful. I would recommend.

Very simple to use tool, no instructions provided but plenty online, this tool gives a pretty close to perfect reading, very well made and strong magnet, came very well packaged and great to put the tool back for protection, very important the surface be level for good results, must have for the price!

This gauge works well if you know how to use it. The magnet is strong enough to attach to your disc brake rotor without it sliding around. Take measurements before you remove your old struts and install the new struts using your original measurements. You will still have to have your vehicle aligned, but it may not need adjustable camber bolts.

I wanted this to work, I really did. But I had the opportunity to compare it with a more expensive Tenhulzen alignment setup and found it quite lacking.On my 1965 VW Beetle, it measured camber at -1 degrees (driver's side) and +.5 degrees. This is wildly out of spec and I was informed that this was indicative of bent tie rods.Fortunately, I decided to try with the more expensive alignment kit which indicated that both wheels were well within spec. Had I acted on the results that this gauge provided, it would have been a costly and unnecessary mistake.The problem is three-fold. First, as this is a spirit level, it works relative to gravity and not relative to the surface that the vehicle is sitting on (this was most of the problem in my case). Second, it needs to be adjusted perfectly prior to use. Third, the spirit bubble is not very precise, with a precision of maybe 0.5 degrees (that's the entire error bound for most vehicles!).So neat idea, but not really worth it.
