Best projector in the price range! Great features including wireless for phone connection.
I love this projector. I have many native 1080p projectors I use for decorating that are all in this price range, but this one blows all of them away. I've added a lot of pics because I wanted to test out a lot of curiosity and figured I'd show you too. I did all this testing because I'm setting up a 120 inch home theater and wanted to use my best projector.Where to beginThe picture is fantastic all around. The sides and corners don't get very blurry with the keystone like others I have do, a little bit but not horrible. The focus works well and gets the whole screen clear. I could even say it would work nicely for office presentations because of the even clarity over the whole screen. To start I set it up for 110 inch screen which put there projector 141 inches from the screen. I used this screen size because most projectors say that's the sweat spot and I wanted to compare. I took many pictures of this projector with different content and sources at 110 inches so you can see. Sources I used include USB, HDMI, and the built in wireless connection with my phone.I then maxed out the screen size to fit on my wall at about 220 inches!!! The Projector had to be about 290 inches away to achieve 220 inches. The picture was still fantastic! Of course getting up really close you can see the pixels but you'll never be that close to watch a 220 inch screen and stepping back enough to view it they disappear and the picture is clear. It says you can go up to 300 inches with this one and I believe it. It still had such a great picture at 220 inches. Maybe I'll bring it outside and use the side of my house to get a 300 inch pic later. The lumens are 5500 and that makes it the brightest of all mine as well. I can clearly tell a difference when I have some side by side. With lights on and/or natural light coming in the windows I can still see the picture with pretty good color and clarity. I added some pics in a room with varied brightness and distance from the screen and I even did it at the max screen size I could get on my wall (around 220 inches!!!). Even with the lights fully on and right next to the screen I can still see the picture. Took one pic on my 18ft high ceiling during the day right after I got it and I could see everything clearly prob was about a 164 inch screen at that distance, couldn't measure that one but should be close.Next the sourcesIt has:2 HDMI ! (All others I have only have 1 so this is great)2 USB1 VGA1 3.5mm headphone jack1 3.5mm AV Jack (comes with the cable to connect RCA to it)WirelessI used all sources except for the Apple connection (because I don't have apple devices) and the VGA. I used the USB to play some Halloween decorations I have and used on my other projectors. I used the HDMI to connect to my laptop and play some videos/movies. And I connected my phone to the wireless connection and played some content as well. Now with the wireless phone connection it does not play Netflix or YouTube TV (maybe a couple others), BUT they clearly stated that it doesn't play them due to licencing in their product description on Amazon, so I already knew that. However I could see YouTube videos, Crunchyroll and many other videos using this connection. I could also play videos and pictures stored on my phone. Really nice feature to have even without Netflix or YouTube TV, I can get those from a streaming device or smart Blu-ray player. Also I wanted to get more pictures of videos from the phone source but only could get a picture of my camera app since I couldn't take a picture and watch a video at the same time, but it works and looks just as good as the rest of the sources. Also just for a clarification the wireless connection isn't for internet access and doesn't connect the projector to the internet. It is strictly to connect your device to the projector. The projector does not have apps or anything like a smart device. Buy a cheap streaming device to plug into it if you want to use apps on it.Next would be the soundI tested out the built in speakers vs my other projectors and once again these blow them away. The sound is much clearer and more dynamic than any of my others. It is deeper and more natural range where the others are much higher pitch and less ranged, mostly treble. It also is quite loud and can easily give a satisfying experience without the need to connect extra or better speakers. It has 2 speakers built in, they're small but pretty good. I do plan to use this mostly with a home theater system so I won't be using the speakers too much. They're not fantastic speakers if compared to a actual sound system but for built in speakers and for a projector in this price range they are very good and won't disappoint.Only thing I wish it had is an optical sound output (SPDIF) so I could hook it up to my home theater system and hear the wireless connection videos or USB videos over the system. But I can use the built in speakers for that and still have a pleasant experience. I could use the 3.5mm it has to hook it up but I don't want to run another cord through my ceiling and wall.I think I covered just about everything now. Overall it really is a fantastic projector and I would absolutely definitely recommend it! Fantastic picture and good sound, plus wireless. This has one of the biggest and greatest advantages over all other native 1080p projectors I've seen and have, and that is the wireless connection for phone's and PC's. Not to mention pairing that with this great picture is a deadly combination.

Sturdy, capable, high-res, inexpensive...
This is a nice little projector that hits all the basics very inexpensively while having a few standout features for its price--more lumens than most in its class along with higher 1080p resolution. The key thing is 800 lumens and 1080p resolution. Most projectors with this many lumens at 1080p native resolution are double the price. There are absolutely no frills on this projector. But it works as expected and is well worth the price.Exceeds expectations at price…1. 1080p. Yes, in the questions section of the Amazon page an answer says that native resolution for the projector is 720p, but if you look you will see that this page has been revised for a new and updated projector and that the answer given was for the predecessor. This truly is 1080p. Check out my photos of the projector being used with my laptop and you’ll see that even the small system fonts are quite legible. 720p is 1280x720. 1080p is 1920x1080.2. 800 lumens. Forget the 5500 lux claim. I don’t know what lux is. But ANSI lumens are a well-established standard, and this projector has 800 lumens, which is enough to use it with some ambient light as you can see in my photos. I find it much brighter and clearer than the image from my Anker Nebula Mars projector.3. Included MiraCast. (But MiraCast isn’t that great a system. You may be able to rely on it in a pinch, but you will typically want to use a cord to attach the projector to a video source.)Meets expectations…1. Good solid volume from speakers.2. Manual keystone and focus. Both work well.3. Competent remote. Does everything but focus and keystone.4. Display. As you can see in the photos, it’s a little washed-out compared with my 3000x2000 resolution SurfaceBook, but what do you expect?5. Has an elevation screw. Don’t have to use books to prop it up like with many cheaper projectorsCould wish for…1. Smaller. It’s no pico projector. It won’t fit in a briefcase, let alone a pocket.2. Battery power. Probably inevitable that it lacks a battery given its lumens and resolution, both of which require more power. Smaller, less-bright, lesser resolution projectors are more likely to be battery powered.

Works Best in Dark Room
Overall I'm really happy with the projector. I haven't tried all the features but what I've used so far has worked without issue. Speaker is louder than I expected which is nice. However, louder than I expected but I don't have much experience with projectors so this could be the norm. Projects a BIG picture and looks good. I run my PC through it and it looks good for what I'm playing. Focus can be difficult for text but not unreadable. Really the only reason for four out of five stars. For the price it is a steal and if you manage your expectation you'll be very happy with this projector.

Great projector for the price. Best for TV/ movies
It comes with a remote control, HDMI and VGA wires, and much more. The projector is light and can fit in one hand, but has every single port you could want (HDMI, USB, SD, VGA, AV, etc.) and is one of the brightest projectors I've used. The main advantage is wireless connection to all my devices, very comfortable.

Easy to use, fair price, need improvement for display tuning
- Real 1080p- High brightness- A bit noisy- A bit big- Easy wifi connection and with real-time reaction- Made in China- Display without auto-tuning- Maximum display reduction only 75%

The small points would break off and were unusable. This happened in all cases.
I do not use this product. It's too inexpensive to return. Very disappointed in product.

Good but you can do better at this price point.
Hi there! Here's my review of the Erisan s50. First of all, I would like to preface this review with this first; I am a bit of a videophile so I basically try to get the absolute best picture possible out of every screen that displays anything in my home. Lol! My goal when I calibrate a picture is to literally get the most accurate colors, brightness and contrast ratios possible. Also to be fair in this review, I do have a great environment for a projector as well. It's an extremely dark basement with all the lights out.As far as this projector goes, I feel like it left me a little short overall. The contrast ratio is no way what they are claiming. The brightness is really good though and the colors do pop. Bright scenes display very well even with a bit of ambient light. The photos I've attached with Mac Miller performing are one with one overhead light on and one with the lights out. As you can see, the projector gets bright enough to fight some ambient light. Now regarding the contrast, unfortunately it's not this projectors strong point. Basically what happens is that it blows whites out a lot right out of the box. Also when calibrating, it wasn't able to reach any of the contrast ratio reference points. I was able to finally get a decent picture playing with the brightness and contrast levels over and over again. That brings me to the brightness level, this one was a winner. I was able to reach some brightness reference points when calibrating which extremely helped get a decent picture out of this thing. Regarding color accuracy, I got pretty close to 100% when switching to the "warm" profile in combination with my brightness and contrast settings. Regarding fan noise, I would say it's definitely low for a budget projector. Can't hear it when watching a movie or anything really.Another thing I noticed on this projector is that is doesn't display a sharp image at anything under 1080p resolution (at about an 100-120 inch screen) so if you have a lot of media consumed at resolutions under 1080p, I'd recommend setting up the projector at a smaller display size.To finish up this review and the reason I had to send this unit back was because of two things. 1) I don't know if it's this projector or if it's my unit but my picture seemed to really struggle with its refresh rate. Even when watching movies with lower frames per second, the screen would flicker a lot. Especially my vertical image syncing, that was really rough. Gaming on my PC and Xbox one x was rough as well. It just didn't seem to be able to give a consistent 60 frames per second. To the point where I felt it wasn't playable. The flickering/studdering of the picture was too much to ignore. At first I thought it was just a "budget projector" thing but it's definitely not. I think my unit or this model has a defect. It says it's 60hz refresh rate but I don't think that's accurate. Second reason is the Keystoning ability of this projector is sub par at best. It only gives you about 15 degrees vertically to play with and if you do, you will for sure lose a lot of clarity at the edges of your picture. So in order to combat that you will need to have the projector placed at a height that will allow you to display the picture with the least amount of keystone needed to get a perfect rectangle. Overall, I believe for what this projector is selling for (over 350 at the time of this post), you can do better. Just in case you have this projector and are curious of my settings, here you go.Contrast: 40, Brightness: 50, Color: 50, Sharpness: 20, Color Temperature: Warm, Noise Reduction: low, Aspect Ratio: Auto.(Also, I'm using a 1.4 gain screen)If you are still here, thanks for reading!

Great for presentations!
The first thing that struck me about this projector is how lightweight it was. It's not heavy like most other projectors of this size tend to be. I'm happy with the wide array of inputs, allowing for 2 HDMI devices, RCA, VGA, and even playing video files directly off of a USB flash drive. And that's not to mention that I was able to cast my screen to it, although it's worth noting that that'll only work in some apps, and the way it works depends on if you're using Android or IOS. On Android it uses Miracast, so you can research that, and find out if what you want to do with it would work. The focus can be adjusted quite a bit, resulting in some flexibility with regards to how far away from the wall it is, and how big the picture is. In the photos I attached it was projecting clearly onto my wall from around 4.5 meters away, and the picture was a few meters across. The text didn't come out too clear in the picture, but it looked clear to me. There was some lag, so I wouldn't recommend this for gaming, or high FPS video, but it's great for presentations and the like, which is what I expect I'll be using it for. The remote it comes with is useful too, but I'll probably be sticking to using the buttons on the top. Overall I'm very happy with it, especially given the price.

Frustrating as hell
Has a good image if you can get the thing to stay on, the power cord doesnt stay plugged in and the slightest bit of movement will shift the cord and power the entire unit off... goodluck. If I cant get a new power cord I'll be returning it.

Great quality for price
I have been through many projectors at the same price point and this is by far the best projector out there. The quality of the picture and sound is great. You have all the inputs needed (2xusb,2xhdmi,1xvga).
