Very very happy with this item. I run mostly alongside a busy road and I feel much safer running in this as the darker mornings and evenings arrive. The level of reflectivity is brilliant and likewise the fluorescent yellow areas are lovely and bright. I thought it might be very sweaty and uncomfortable but actually it's very comfortable and wicks away moisture nicely - it's not waterproof though, which I am fine with, I'm happy being wet.One thing to be aware of, you can only wash it 25 times as by then the reflectivity will have effectively gone. On the face of it that may seem pretty quick and would be if you wore and washed it every day, but so far I've done a few runs in it and let the rain wash it through :) If I only wash it once a month then that's two years and I will only wear it through autumn and winter so I'm sure I'll get plenty of life out of it.

I want to like this jacket. And will keep it for now but time will tell.Pros, it's super visible at night or day , sizing is good and I like the pocketsCons , it's is not lightweight the lining and the weight of the reflective material make this jacket on the heavy side for running, the reflective material is not breathable and with so much of it the jacket can be sweaty .What they need to do is get rid of the lining and a little of the Reactive material and put some breathable panels in this would .and this jacket so much better

As a Runner find it hard to find a jacket that fits well but not hinder my run. This coat fits a treat.The reflection from the coat is spot on. Wish I'd found this jacket years ago. That impressed with it brought one for my brother as Xmas gift.

Great product. Does give you the best of both worlds (the yellow is bright and the reflective parts are large) and just 1 jacket to wear both in the morning & evening. I am a chest size 46, so the large is a bit snug but my whole reason to buy it is to lose weight whilst cycling to & from work, so that’s absolutely fine. I found wearing a thermal underneath keeps me warm enough for my 40 min bike ride to work in London (temp 5 - 12 degrees in winter). In summer, I guess I wear just the jacket as the thickness is about double a standard biking Lycra top - may be a bit warm but haven’t tried it yet. It’s not waterproof though, so rain will be a problem but that does mean it’s breathable. The top pocket stores my iPhone 6 close to my Bluetooth headphones for better connectivity. All in all highly recommended at such a good price.

I bought this at the tail end of the winter season and as the temperature began to climb this jacket was too warm for regular use when cycling. Now as we descend back into winter and my 05:30 morning starts are accompanied by 2-7C temperatures, this jacket is coming into it's own. It's comfortable with a simple t-shirt underneath, but I also wear a tubular scarf that stretches over my head to protect my neck and ears from the cold. A useful benefit of the scarf is that it also protects the jacket's collar from excessive abrasive wear and sweat marks.Having said that, I personally still find this jacket too warm to wear on the return leg when the afternoon temperature can rise to 10-12C. Today I wore it for a couple of miles but then had to stop and put it in my pannier bag. 15 miles of mixed but overall uphill cycling would lobsterize me. If your journey is shorter, or requires less exertion, or you sweat less, it may be fine.Is it 50:50 hi-vis/reflective? Possibly, but in my mind it looks more reflective. That's not a big issue though because you're quite likely to be wearing this out and about during the winter twilight hours and nighttime when more reflectiveness works well, plus your lights (right?) are going to help others see you.I have been caught in the rain a few times and I am pleased to report that it does a good job of keeping you dry.I've not had any issues with quality yet, and when I launder it I'll probably turn it inside out and stick it in a linen bag to protect the zipper.

Received this, plus one for the other half, and that evening for our run it was raining pretty hard. Jacket is not billed as waterproof, since only the reflective panels are waterproof, however still kept much drier than was expecting. The breathable (yellow) material also meant that it did not raise a massive sweat which I normally experience in wet weather gear.Fit is spot on from the size chart - it's loose enough to provide freedom of movement, but not billowing around like a massive cape. Definitely a keeper for running on dark nights and in wet weather!

Bought this to go running on unlit country roads in the evening over the winter. It's amazingly reflective which gives me confidence I'm going to get seen. It fits well, and has protected me from a complete soaking in the rain (although it gets wet on the inside from sweat).Because of the limited number of washes it can take, it's something to wear until it stinks, and then wash it - but I've worn it half a dozen time now and it's absolutely fine at the moment.

Delivery was prompt. Product is well made but size-wise, even though I used the guide, it comes up a bit small and I probably should have gone for large especially if I need a warmer layer underneath.
