Abundant!

You won't find a bigger or better pack of seeds than this one, anywhere on Amazon. I received 143 total varieties of vegetables, greens, herbs/spices, legumes, and the Golden Bantam sweet corn. I can't speak highly enough of this collection. It is very well packed, and very abundant in seeds. I couldn't imagine going through all the trouble of getting so many of all of these seeds, and pure (I hope), to sell, but no matter, it makes you feel quite good to have these at your disposal (or rather, years long storage, and mounds of potential produce in the future!) With a pack like this you expect longevity of seeds and success in germination (as long as you go through the trouble of making the right soil, saturation, light, heat and humidity conditions for germination).I'm keeping my seeds packed into two mason jars (yes, all 143 varieties together can fit into two, quart mason jars), in the back of my fridge. According to their leaflet, room temperature may keep the seeds alive 3-5 years (all assuming you keep them dry and out of sunlight), refrigerated they may sustain 6-10, and in a freezer, apparently they can last 10-20 years. Did not know that! So, what of the extra 8 varieties, you ask? Tomatoes! The pack came with a total of 20 varieties of tomato. Among my most anticipated to try are the Striped Stuffer, Golden Jubilee, Big Rainbow, and Chocolate Stripes. If you're like me, you'll have immediate preferences among the 20 varieties of tomatoes (assuming you get that "gift pack", and you'll wonder why you have so many others... most of them are red.), but I guess it's worth growing all of them, or most, to at least test differences in taste or consistency...It is definitely a veggie-and-melon-heavy collection, with many varieties of certain species, probably an attempt at satisfying differences in taste, and in some cases offering differences in color... They offer many varieties of those plant types which vary in color, or else several varieties of the root crops, and fewer or only one variety of certain other crops or herbs. For 143 varieties total, expect about 49 different species total. So, it's still a good value, also offering a small starter for those who want to have their first base of perennials in the garden. It's really a good way to knock out so many varieties at once so you're not distracted by those heirlooms later, as you've already got them, and can move on. Plus if you don't even want to bother with certain varieties, you can give them to friends or neighbors.I have nothing on germination rates, but I may update the review as I test these seeds out in varying soil and micro-climatic conditions. Assuming the best, I would HIGHLY recommend this as the IDEAL starter for anyone who wants to grow heirloom garden produce.

Wow, really good seed. I have surprised with the variety.

I think if you go with this company, I don’t know what else that they offer but wow, the variety I think it’s very important that you had this variety put it in your seed bank. If I took a photo right now it would be mixed because I’m sorting my seeds. Wow I am so impressed. Very good company. I couldn’t wait to give a review. I’m very happy and I’m not one that’s ever happy. It’s hard to please me and I seen the quality and variety of the seeds over the top. We’ve got seeds from the Congo. Very impressed .

These are great, as long as they grow in your region

It's important to understand that not all the seeds in this package are a 'plant in dirt and water' type deal. Some require specific conditions or a lot of attention. If you're new to gardening, this can quickly turn into a labor-intensive headache. This warning is for those who think they've got it all figured out. Gardening in any state demands knowledge, so invest in a local gardening guide tailored to your region. However, these seeds are invaluable for trade, insurance, growing, and other purposes. Remember, seeds have a shelf life. Keep them in a climate-controlled space, like an ammo box included, to extend their viability. It's a backup plan, not a gamble on if you were right on them lasting forever.I've purchased these for friends and family who are homesteaders and preppers, and they've found great value in them. They even engage in seed trades, creating a sense of community and self-reliance.When you choose this particular style, brand, and quantity, you're investing in more than just seeds; you're investing in peace of mind for the 'what if' scenarios.

OMG ! I'm impressed !

Amazing collection of seeds ! They look really fresh . To those that posted low ratings . I can't speak to the sprouting ability yet .But as to the cost and how many seeds . One would have to be pretty ignorant to complain about quantity .Considering they posted the quantity right in the title ( 23,335+ ) . They also listed all of the 135 seed varieties and how many seeds the bags have for every single bag and variety . There's a huge amount of seeds ! The individual bags have various amounts . Some have a few ( 25+ ), some have more ( 500+ ). Smaller seeds tend to have more seeds . As to cost . If you have no clue how much seeds cost these days you might think these are pricy . Or if you are mathematically challenged . But those that have actually been buying seeds know that you often get a ridiculously small amount and pay a ridiculous high price for them .Anyone that thinks these are high priced go buy individual seed packs count how many seeds you are getting and see how far you get with $75 . You would never get near this many seeds and varieties . Let alone the rare diversity . Not even close !I'll try to remember to post an update after these get geminated to give an idea of how many sprouted . Sprouting issues are sometimes the user though .Do I have complaints ? Sure . There are some strange gaps in the seed varieties .Like only one pack of corn .Several other common vegetables have only one variety . Tomatoes have something like 21 ! WOW ! That is impressive ! 4 types of Okra , really Okra ! ? Would rather have 4 varieties of Cauliflower .But if you bought these from a grocery store or plant nursery as individual packs . You wouldn't get anywhere near this amount or varieties . And if you did it would cost hundreds . So I'm not complaining .I split these up 3 ways for 3 people's gifts and I'm really pleased with the magnitude of seeds that each are getting . Took me a couple hours just to sort them out into some sort of fair equal grouping . I'm confident each of these recipients are going to be blown away by the quantity and quality of their gift . I'm sure they will be overwhelmed . They are going to have to expand their gardens by about 3 times what they have presently .They are going to have produce coming out their ears !
