Game Changer
I have literally feel in love with this gateway! After purchasing the lock, I read up to figure out how I could lock and unlock our door from anywhere I have cell phone reception. This has made it to where I can be at my office 30 minutes away from my house and be able to unlock and lock my door when needed. I even get messages of when my door is locked and unlocked, so now I know what someone is up to! I would highly recommend this gateway to anyone with keyless entry door lock. It is easy to start with the lock that we purchased and takes a C-style charger, which helped us a lot. We lost the C-style cable it came with, but being an android family we have them laying around everywhere!Currently we use the gateway with our keyless entry lock on our bedroom door, and to this date we have not had any complaints at all! It was easy to incorporate with the system we bought and only took a few minutes once it was plugged in!

Great customer service with SMONET Smart door Lock WiFi Gateway
I got these gateways for our airbnbs to be able to access the door locks from home and while away. They work great, until recently when my gateway would no longer connect. I called SMONET customer service and spoke to a live person from the start, they connected me to a tech support person via text and within 10 minutes had the situation figured out and sent me replacement gateways. CAN YOU SAY AWESOME???!!! Now a days it’s very frustrating having to deal with customer service that is automated, but that’s not the case with SMONET. It’s been nothing but easy and efficient! THANK YOU!!!

Updated: Works Sometimes
Updated 11/2: My gateway had been working until I noticed I wasn't receiving any information about who/when was opening the door. I found out that my gateway had stopped working completely. I reached out to their customer service (specifically Marina) and she was so helpful! They're sending me a replacement.Updated: Their customer service is impressive and reached out to me about the issue I was having with the gateway. They gave me two options to try out to see if the gateway would work better. The distance between my lock and gateway is OK but I was also told to look into my wifi network. Though I haven't had a chance to try and test this, it wouldn't be a problem with the gateway.I had no problem installing the gateway nor getting it working with the lock and my Google Home. However, when I tried to unlock the door remotely it didn't work. I always get an error on my phone mentioning Bluetooth. Usually takes a couple of tries to get it working.

Solid connection
I've been using this for almost a year now. Connected to my Smonet smart lock. Very happy with this in addition to the lock as now I can set up codes and let people in remotely. Plus, I get notifications now. There is an annoying bright blue light on the hub but I just covered it in a strip of painters tape to dull it down.

Gateway Loses Connection Daily
If this gateway was not mandated by my lock's manufacturer, I would toss it in the trash. It has "Lost Connection" 3-5 times per day. The unit is in 'line of sight' of both the lock and the router (5 ft to the lock, 21 ft to the router). No excuse for losing connection at all, much less 3-5 times daily.

It Is OK. The App is Horrible
It took me two tries, but I was able to connect the hub to my 2.4 wifi on my dual band router. It is about 6 and 40 feet away from my locks, respectively. I am using TEEHO Smart Locks and this gateway works well with them.This is supposed to be the improved version over the one without the raised circle. It does not take up much space. I would say about 2 to 3 inches on each side.The gateway suggest one app on the Amazon Item page (TTlock) and another in the actually app (ScienerSmart), to set up with working with Alexa. So, I cannot use my locks to their fullest. Skimming through the internet. and checking out the apps reviews, it appears that his is a common theme.I am also worried about how long this gateway will last. Many people have commented that it will drop off after a few months. Oh well, we will wait and see. So far, so good.

Customer Service Helpful
I bought this lock and gateway for a condo we recently moved into. The lock works great. The only issue was that the gateway would not connect to my Google Wifi because there was no option to pick only 2.4 g for the gateway to connect to. The Smonet customer service was very attentive but unfortunately could not figure the problem out. However, I called Google and they immediately fixed the issue by having me set up a guest network that automatically only does 2.4 g, so the gateway connected to it on the first try. Now the lock and gateway work great through the Next Lock app.
