Quality, well thought out item!
If you get one of these one of these little jewels, get the clear one. It comes to a boil faster than you'd think & being able to see the action is pretty handy. I've been using it to make pour-over coffee & I really love it. I wish they had something like this when I could motorcycle camp. Collapsing & uncollapsing is super easy. I make a tall mug at a time which only brings the water level a little above the lower ripple. I've tried it on the stove in the kitchen, a single burner camp stove, & a Brunton Raptor backpack stove. Excellent results with all methods. The 1st time in the house, the handle did get pretty warm, but I didn't need a hotpad. The handle only got warm with the either camp stove. The lid goes in easy but fits slightly snug so it won't fall out when pouring. Since the metal bottom is acting as a heat collector, it ought to work fine on an electric stove. I don't think this would be too good on a typical campfire, but it might work on a small wood burn stove. Two knurled head screws let you lock the handle either up, or to the side.

Works great!
This kettle works great! Heats the water quickly and safely.I think I saw other people criticize that the cattle collapses when you try to with the lid on, but I have not had that experience and I always put the lid on as the water is heating up. There are little divots on the lid for it if it securely โ maybe other people are not inserting it where the matching cut outs are at the top of the kettle?I also saw a criticism about the bottom of the Gentlemens handle heating up. The handle is metal wrapped in protective silicon, and the portion that connects to the bottom of the kettle can get hot, but that is the same with any kettle. I do not see how this could have been made any better, unless the handle was attached to the top of the kettle instead of the bottom, and then it would be more difficult to pour out the water, as the silicon would likely bend.

Its a great size for what I intend to do
Bought this strictly for camp/outdoor adventures to use along side my Coleman grill/stove. Its a great size for what I intend to do. Folds and stores nicely with the Coleman and I feel $25 is a fair price.I just did a test boil and I thought I would note a couple things.- Dont fill it more then the top folding crease if you plan to hard boil water.- There may be some surface rust on the inside of the pot. I had some minor rust dots that cleaned right up with a soft brush- I would recommend doing a few boil cycles before drinking. Mine shipped with a notable smell. After one cycle its still there but im sure it will dissipate. It could also just be the silicone itself.- The lid looks like it should lock with a twist but mine doesn't- Handle works well enough if its just slightly finger tight. The bottom screw can go all the way in as its just a stopper.

Great little pot, great price tag
This is a great little kettle! I've never needed to fill the pot all the way, but I'd guess it makes enough for about 2 medium mugs of tea or coffee. I have had it for a couple months now; I use it almost every day. The handle is held in place by a couple of screws. It's very fast and easy to collapse or expand it. Even when the water inside is at a rolling boil, the silicone sides / handle are safe to touch. It doesn't whistle, but you can hear bubbles coming up off the steel bottom (makes a rattling sound) and see the bubbles at the top through the sides. One thing to be aware of: when replacing the lid, it is easy to compress the kettle. So use two hands - hold the top of the kettle in one hand and insert the lid with the other.

Mighty little teapot!
I absolutely love this little teapot! It boils water super quickly, retains heat really well, has a great pour - I use it for "pour-over" coffee in my collapsible silicone coffee cone. I didn't realize I was doing something special, but I've always made my drip coffee in the pour-over style - a little bit at a time - first wake up the grounds by pre-moistening, then a little at a time, keeping it even, creating a nice crema.... ahhhh. I like that it is clear, too - easy to see inside. The lid fits very well, and it is easy to collapse and expand, the handle is sturdy, and not hot - no need for potholders. GREAT little tool. I use it for camping. Oh, bonus of having the silicone top part - when it is cold out, I can warm my hands on it!

Works!
Great little kettle. Note that you need to use it on a flame that is smaller than the metal base so you don't hurt the rubber. Also, the metal is magnetic, which means you should be able to use this on an induction stovetop. If looking at water marks on the clear silicone bothers you, consider buying the colored version of this. It's hard to get the post-washing drip marks off of this kind of product.

Elegant and Fun!
This is the best little teapot ever. I love that I can see inside easily. I'm using it for camping. We have a small induction cooktop in the trailer and this is my hot water for coffee and dishes. Very sturdy, yet collapsed down for storage. The handle stays in place. The only mishap I've had is pushing the lid in too hard and partially collapsing it when it had water in it, but now I know to be a little more gentle when I'm adding the lid. This is enough for aobut 3 cups of coffee. It's a well-made and elegant teapot that we'll enjoy for many years. All stainless base makes it great for induction or other types of heat.

Awesome kettle
Bought this to bring with us to our cabin. I was very surprised that there was no smell what so ever when I took it out of the box. I know that it may sound strange but sometimes silicone stuff has an odor. My husband and I tested it out on our electric stove so make sure everything was fine and it was. I love how it's clear so you can see the water boiling. This should be an obvious but there's no whistle so it's nice to see when it's ready. Collapses nicely and a must for campers or even people that want to save some space in their home.

Compact Little Pot
I purchased this pot because the silicone was clear and not a solid colour so I could look inside the pot. I boiled at least a 1000ml of water in it with still about an inch or two of space left at the top. Be careful when boiling water. If you leave the lid on while boiling water then it will spit out hot water. Also be careful when putting the lid on with hot water in it. If you put too much force pushing down by accident you can collapse the pot pushing the hot water out.It lost a star because there was some kind of strange sharp burs coming out from where the pot joins the handle. When I grabbed the pot it cut my hand. Not something I was expecting to happen and made me question the attention to detail and manufacturing process. Plus I noticed some tiny rust spots on the stainless steel (indicates to me poorer quality of stainless steel). Hopefully it will last a long time considering how much it cost when I purchased it.All things considered the pot does what it is supposed to (boil water, save space, and be portable).

Looks good and performs well.
Love having a kettle that packs down for storage and big enough for 3-4 mugs. Comes to boil quickly. Handle does not always hold the firm screw position and it is a little difficult to drain completely dry. Ensure you hold the top when securing the lid or it can collapse as you push it on!

Space Saving Collapsible Kettle - Perfect for RVers!
As a traveller in a 19 ft RV, this collapsible kettle is just the kind of space saver I was looking for. This item give me 3 more inches of vertical space in one my kitchen cabinets for extra storage. I also enjoy the fact that this item is transparent - I don't always want a full on boil and with this product and I have more control over the water temperature. This kettle is also usable on a gas stovetop which is key as we use propane for our cooking needs in the RV. My boyfriend didn't believe me that 5 cups of water could fit in the compact kettle, resulting in a fabulous foot rub once I proved him wrong ;)

Love it.
I have no problems with the handle or sharp edges. Very compact for camping on my motorcycle. And bonus, it works on induction cookers.

Superbly useful to have this
Superbly useful to have this. It's more expensive to get it shipped but am glad to have it. Works as expected on induction cooktops.
