Very cheaply made which causes more problems very fast.
At first I thought these were going to work fine, but that idea started fading pretty quickly. The first thing I noticed was that the yellow sticky strips are sticky on both sides, thats a really good thing because you could actually use the one side to catch a bunch of those little P.O.S. fungus gnats, and then instead of having to replace the sticky strip with a new one, you can just flip it around and have almost a brand new one! Unfortunately, thats where the praise stops and the complaining starts. First, the sticky adhesive they use is way too sticky, noticably more so than other brands. You would think that would be a good thing, but I can assure you it's not. It means the peel away tabs on about every 2nd or 3rd one are stuck on there so badly that they don't want to come off, so then while fighting with it, you get the sticky stuff all over your hands and fingers and it is SUPER annoying.....so yeah, the excessive stickiness is just all around bad! Then, the little posts that you put the sticky strips on to and stick in the soil are super cheaply made. I did notice this as soon as I opened the package, but I didn't think it would be an issue due to how little I actually handle them once they're fitted with the sticky strips and stuck into the soil in the pots of the plants. Well, I was very wrong! Each little stick has two sets of prongs sticking out of the sides, each one has two jagged prongs that are set super close to eachother forming teeth that are supposed to grab on to the sticky strips. Out of the box these are fairly tight and you have to put a small amount of force on the sticky strips to get them inserted all the way in between of the prong clamp thingys. That is also where the main problem is. The plastic is so cheap and/or low grade that after only a few days, they don't stay seated tightly together anymore. Because of this, the stips start falling out constantly when you slightly tap them on purpose or accident and of course that also means that more sticky crap gets all over your hands and fingers! No matter how much I've tried, I can not squeeze them to where they will stay tightly together again, they just loosen right back up. Long story short, these will look like they are going to be fine and do what they need to do at first, but then they will quickly turn into a messy, sticky headache and you will begin tossing them into the garbage one, after another, after another as they all quickly become useless. Even with the low price, which is honestly why I bought them, these are not at all worth saving a couple bucks in my opinion. I will never purchase this brand again.

sloppy adhesive oozes off strips that won't stay where they need to
I don't usually write reviews, but these sucked, and every time I tried to use them, I ended up so irritated I ended up throwing them away. These are in fact very sticky, so if you can manage to set one up and have it actually stay, it will work. That being said, that in itself is part of the problem. The posts do not properly hold the sticky strips, as they pop themselves out of the too shallow slots. There is almost no non-adhesive tab to hold onto the ends to keep it from sticking to your fingers while assembling, the adhesive oozes over the sides of the strip, so holding there is a no go too. The straps will either stick to something or pop out of the post before you can actually stick it in the soil, and then the adhesive is stuck to whatever it touched insteD of the strip. Don't waste your time, money, or patience. Just get the Safer brand ones.

Plant stake like bug gotcha trap!
These are easy to use just remove the protective paper on each side, fold them in half and stick them in the green holder, which I found simpler to have in the soil. I used 2 stakes with 3 stickies per plant I put them in. They look sort of like a little plant decoration. Your fingers will get sticky just and FYIi don’t know how else you fold it in half with out your fingers getting sticky. But it’s easy to emote the sticky from your fingers with soap and water! There is no smell with these which is nice. And the gnats I had around my plants stuck to them nicely.I will buy them again!

Catches those pesty gnats
I have lost many house plants to fungus gnats. I don't use chemicals in my home or garden. This is a simple solution. Place the traps and catch the gnats.
