I really like and I like how it holds my phone from the side and the bottom. It seems good but I just got it and we will see how it goes.

I just got this device yesterday, so I haven't been able to confirm its durability through the test of time, but it it is extremely sturdy, stable, well-designed, and well-constructed. As for its versatility, I had originally wanted to get a stand that would raise up several inches from the desk, but there were too many reviews of such stands stating that they had turned out not to be very durable. This stand seems to be as versatile as one can be, in respect to tilting to various angles, while being stable and durable.I had considered the Omoton C2, but chose this one because it looked like its base might be more stable. However, the Omoton's base seems to be modeled on the desktop Mac base, which is perfectly stable, so my guess is that the Omoton is as stable as the APPS2Car, and would be an excellent alternative.The device arrives without directions, so it took me a minute to figure out to assemble and use it. It consists of two parts, the holder and the base, which are not attached on arrival.To attach the holder to the base, you first loosen the knob near the bottom of the base so that you can raise up the arm. Then you unscrew the large nut on the female joint on the back of the holder all the way. Next, you insert the male connector, which is located at the top of the base and has a ball at the end, through the large nut you have loosened, fully into the female connector on the back of the holder. Then you tighten the large nut, thereby connecting the holder to the base.. Loosening the knob near the bottom of the base will allow you to tilt the holder from front to back.On arrival, the holder's arms are so close they look like the device will hold only phones less than two inches wide, but that's because they are in the closed position. The arms pop open when you press the button at the top of the back of the holder. Then they close easily to hold the phone securely after you have seated it on the bottom support. (If the arms should become partly closed, you do not press the phone between them; instead you close the arms all the way and then pop them open again by pressing the button on the back.) The holder can be rotated 360 degrees to tilt the phone to a significant extent. The holder's bottom support has gaps through which you can charge the phone and plug in ear buds while it is mounted in the device.

This stand is exactly what I was looking for. My phone is in a thick protective case. Anytime I tried a stand for it the stand would not hold my phone. It constantly fell out unless I removed the cover. This stand is adjustable so I don't have to take the phone out of the case. The stand also adjusts so you can use if for video calls or to watch videos hands free. I seldom write reviews but this product deserved the 5 stars.

After trying a different stand that I ended up returning because it was too flimsy I found this particular stand to be sturdy enough to hold my phone in the upright position with room underneath for the charging cable so my phone could be charging while being used. The only thing I don't like is when you put your phone in the stand and turn it horizontally it doesn't tend to stay straight. There isn't quite enough support to keep it from leaning to one side or the other so you end up watching your phone or using your phone with a crooked line of view.

This is exactly what I was looking for – a simple, solid phone holder for my desk. I had originally purchased the triple-clamp version by the same manufacturer (link below), but while it was very nicely made, the extensions made the stand vibrate whenever I would touch it, even with all of the pivot points firmly tightened. Great quality, sturdy stable versatile positions holds in many angles . Love how stable it is and holds my IPhone 16 pro max securely with the case installed. Buying a second one

Bought this for my handy capped brother in law and he is very satisfied, his fingers are not straight and he cannot open his hands but can hold his phone and move around with it in the stand.
