Works well and cheap enough to have purchased one for each of my vehicles so I can leave it in the glove box and not search for what car it was in last

The dreaded SES light came on the other day and my gauges on my vehicle are not working so I was in need of a way to see what the issue is. I have a fancy tablet style scanner from Foxwell but for some reason it wouldn't link to the OBDII protocol of my Mercury Villager last time I tried to use it. I couldn't find it this time around so figured a cheap basic OBD2 reader will do.This reader is pretty basic but does all the functions you would expect from OBD2 standard. You aren't getting advanced features here as those are more geared to the $200+ scanners. This one on sale cost me less than $15 and as you can see from my screenshots, shown me what I need to know.The neat thing is too this scanner has a built in code library so you can manually look up a code and get a description of the issue. I've used the Bluetooth reader from this same company and it's amazing. Mine was stolen so I have to get another but I can't recommend this model KW310 enough if you just need a basic obd2 reader on the cheap!

No issues with using it. It's fairly intuitive. However, if you do like to read product manuals you may be disappointed as my manual came with non english instructions only. I sent and email for an official copy but I think it can be found online as well.

Best bang for ur buck. Works great. Easy to use. And has lasted me over 2 years now and still works great. Definitely recommend.

I bought this to diagnose a frequent engine light i was getting on my car - fixed it and not I am the family mechanic - easy to use and decipher. I think everyone should own one of these.

HARD TO READ ENGINE LIGHT COMPATIBILITY

Pretty much says it all in the title. Basic. Works if you just want basic info. Very worth the price.

I bought it to just see an alerting code so I would know whether I was being told the truth when I went to a mechanic, and also to have in the car if stranded/broke down.This model plugged in easily, powered right up, and has a menu that is very easy to just see all options available and explore safely, so even if you don't know a lot about cars it can still be understood well enough to find the error code.As a bonus, I cleared the error code using the Konnwei 310, and the code has not returned.So easy, even I could do it. Now it's in the car as part of my road hazard kit.
