Q: What if after a few months the cord will not work NOT due to condition but compatibility?

I have 2. use them every day with ipad2air, iphone11, iPhone 13 never had any compatibility issues. Use standard Apple charger. So far working great. Had one earlier....lasted several years. Then began to fray, bought 2 more. Travele all oner UK with them using volt there worked perfect

Mine only lasted about 3 months before it started being crazy. It would make my phone say it wasn’t an authorized device for my iPhone. Then it would not charge consistantly. It woulda le my phone flash because it would work and then not work over and over. Almost like someone turning a light switch on and off over again, it would charge, then not, then charge, then not. I stopped using it and I got a an actual Apple brand charger. Hope this helps.

Q: does it works well with iphone 13 pro max ?

When connected to any apple device, it feels loose and consequently doesn’t charge.

You should use your apple charger or buy a new one to protect your investment. Apple's cords fall apart, and various brands will work.
