The quality of the bees was as expected, the round part to make it part of a necklace was easy to trim off with wire cutters. I would like to have at least four of each type of bee. That is my only complaint.

This assortment of 100 bees is so nice and can be used for numerous things, such as putting one or several on a fine chain as a charm on a necklace, using them to decorate items, such as a jewelry box, make a collage of little bees, or use to paste next to your signature on a card or letter. They are made of metals of different colors: gold, silver, copper, brown, etc. The uses are wide-open and you can do anything you want to do with them. Be creative! They are a teriffic buy and so fun with which to "play" and experiment with your own unique ideas.

You get way too many of the silly round "bees" that have only 2 body segments. I really wanted a top-down view of a more slender wasp with a pointed stinger at the tip of the abdomen, and the photo showed some like that. I was excited about getting some of those in all of the colors included with this set, but unfortunately, the set only included 7 wasps, and only in the bronze color, and one of those was missing a leg. I do love the bronze color, but it would have been nice to get some in antiqued copper as well. The gold, silver, and copper colors were mostly the cartoonish "bees." Since all of the good ones were in the bronze color, I wish they would sell them seperately. I'm not willing to buy a hundred charms just to get 6 usable ones.

I love dragonflies and i am putting one of these on each book that i make
