Great piece of equipment. I use this in conjunction with a TC electric mini spark boost pedal to run my acoustic electric guitar to my mixer. I cannot go directly from the acoustic electric to the mixer, as my mixer does not have an onboard preamp or a hi-z switch. But I can run from the acoustic electric into the spark mini to get a signal boost, and then patch into this passive di box, which then runs an XLR cable (balanced low impedance connection) to the mixer. This passive DI box is just $15, and a spark mini or similar small boost pedal can also be gotten very cheaply. Great low-cost way for me to plug my acoustic into my equipment.(Side note: this little setup does not work out well with an electric. Just get a proper preamp for your electric. I love the Joyo Preamp House for that.)

I bought it for a consulting project that fell through, so I have not used it yet. It's very solidly made and is a good value for the money. I needed it to connect my signal generator to a sound system I was working on.

This actually a great DI box to have laying around as a backup or when you need an extra one. Wouldn't recommend using it as a daily DI although it probably would be fine. The one thing that's a bummer is that word has gotten out about these and the company now keeps bumping the price to capitalize on the popularity of this box. I purchased one of these for $11 in the summer of 2024 (which was not a deal, that was the price at the time). As I've considered purchasing a few more since then, I've seen the price go up every month. It's $20 as of May of 2025 and starting to approach the prices of other boxes on the market by brands with a better/more known reputation. If the price keeps going up from here Pyle will be shooting themselves in the foot. At this point the difference with a Behringer Ultra-DI is only $10 when paying full price, while about the same if you have a GC Pro account (which I do). The Behringer has long proven itself to be a rock solid box so the Pyle is no longer an option I'd consider.

Very happy with this DI Box (once I figured out how to use it correctly!). I have a Pyle PMXU83BT mixer (also very happy with), which I attached to my PC to do some online guitar and vocal streaming through BUTT. My acoustic guitar sounded ok plugged directly into the mixer, but the signal from my electric was weak and distorted. This box definitely solved the problem. Just make sure you're using the DI's XLR Out to your mixer, (I set the DI ATT switch to 0), and found a huge improvement in audio quality.
