BARSKADeep Sea 7x50 Waterproof Marine Binoculars with Internal Rangefinder & Compass

These are rugged, waterproof and have great optics. I really like the compass bearing feature. They are a great value for the money.

I needed a pair of binoculars with an internal compass for marine navigation. These were on sale. First pair arrived and I found that the compass would lock up and not swing correctly. I sent them back and asked for a replacement. Second set arrived and I found that you could not see through the right side of the unit. An internal lens had come loose and rotated 90 degrees from its proper position. Sent the second pair back and asked for a refund.

These Binoculars are a great unit for the price. Used then last week at the beach. I originally bought them for Kayaking. These are way too big for Kayaking and heavy. Overall, pleased the purchase, just didn't hit the sweet spot of light weight

For the price these can't be beat. I live on my boat and am out on it quite often. The optics are good. The internal compass is easy to read and definitely accurate so getting a bearing is no problem. The range finder function probably wouldn't be used often but it does work if you know how.

The lens was loose had pop out and looked like the prism on the left side had shifted. Had hard time seeing the internal compass . Have returned item, and ordered a different brand.

These are great binoculars and as it says, they are waterproof. I had mine strapped to the front of a kayak and ended up flipping over in the water. The binoculars survived (I like the bright yellow strap too:), and are still in use.

Great binoculars, Better compass and sharper optics than my marine Tasco's. But they aren't as rugged as the look, they seem to be a little fragile, the original unit arrived with a lose lens. It was promptly exchanged. I used the binoculars for 13 months and the right lens eye piece became loose inside again. Upon closer inspection the internal lens mounts are a threaded plastic, I'm not sure if they are overtighted when assembled or the plastic is too weak. I currently have an RMA scheduled with Barska for service.

these fell apart after two weeks on boat. poorly made lenses pop out making it unusable. focus system fell out and im unable to contact manufacturer for repairs.

My husband is an experienced hunter with over 15 years as a guide and even more as a recreational hunter. I was concerned that this would suit his needs and his expectations.I did homework before buying. Price was amazing and this was well packaged and delivered promptly.Only thing was the inserting of the batteries (both are required) was a bit fiddly.

Came with 3 batteries for the digital compass and no installation instructions. Once I realized that only 2 batteries were needed, they went in fine.The optics are great and the eye relief for use with glasses is excellent.Made a good choice buying these binoculars.

Quality and function seem okay but time will tell. The lack of a manual and the incomplete manual I downloaded from the Barska site is more than just irritating. The digital compass has functions that are not explained. Also the regular price quoted is BS as these are sold everywhere at a deep discount.
