Great for beginners
Really good trainer balisong (butterfly knife) for the price. I have bought alot of balisongs over the years from $10-$200. recently I've been trying to find a balisong I can be rough with and have it not be a waste of money. I am really happy with this purchase but I have a few things to note.1. Make sure you use RED (permanent) Thread Locker on every screw and once you are finished applying it leave it sit for 24 hours or more. The knife comes with BLUE (temporary) which will wear out quickly.2. The knife will break eventually no matter how careful you are with it. If it does I found that Super Glue works really well for this knife. Make sure you let the knife sit for 1-3 hours after applying.3. USE YOUR OWN SCREWDRIVER not the two it came with. I'm almost positive that you need a T8 and T6 bit screw driver. They usually come in cheap sets so don't worry if you are low on money.4. Buy lube. Alot of my friends and people on the internet come to me for advice about balisongs. For most of them its their first time using one and they always have one complaint and it's that the balisong is really stiff and isn't smooth enough to do tricks. If you buy Super Lube and apply it to washers between the blade and handle it will smooth up almost instantly.5. It may be a dull blade but still TREAT IT LIKE A REALY KNIFE. Eventually you will probably want an upgrade from this knife. The really good/cool ones have a real blade and are very sharp. Even if you aren't going to buy a real one if you get hit with the bite/"sharp" side of this knife restart the trick and try again.I hope this review will help some of you. Have a great time flipping and never give up on a trick until you have mastered it.

Good for the price
For context, I am an absolute beginner when it comes to Balisong flipping, so take what I say with a grain of salt 😆. I’ve been learning on a trainer I 3D printed and I needed something nicer, but also something that wasn’t too expensive.PROS:The texture is great, it balances out nicely after you remove the latch, and it flips super well (at least compared to my 3D printed one).CONS:It will pinch you if you’re not careful. You have to remove the latch bc it throws off the balance. The screws come loose super easily which causes significant tap, even with the thread locker.Overall, I love the way this thing flips, and it looks and sounds good. However, I find it very annoying that the screws come loose, and that you have to remove the latch. But what do you expect for $25? It’s good enough for me. 4/5 ⭐️

Really nice bali trainer!
This is my 2nd bali trainer. I watched a few YouTube reviews and they mention the high quality and I agree. This bali seems extremely well made. It came with loctite and some instructions, but so far, my screws are solid. So if it ain't broke, I'm not fixing it. This trainer is a little heavier than my first one, an Andux brand. The extra weight makes it harder for me to flip but I am brand new to this hobby. The G10 I believe it's called is done extremely well and makes this knife (or tool?) seem really high-end. If you said this knife cost upwards of 100 bucks, I wouldn't argue with you. I appreciate that despite being a trainer, the blade at least has a little bit of utility with a screw driver for the tip. I wish it was finished on both sides, though. One side is sleek and tapered and looks really cool. While the other side is flat. Being a lefty, this means I am looking at the non-pretty side most of the time. I advise you to go slow and learn proper form. I have two dime-sized bruises on the back of my hand where this thing has smacked me. It has some heft, and the hits add up over time! But overall, I still think this is a good trainer, especially at this price point. I can't give it any less than perfect 5 stars across the board.

Good Bali on price to value ratio
The media could not be loaded. I originally was going to review this at around 3-4 stars, but after thinking about it for a while, decided to give it 5 stars as for what you received is a quality balisong trainer nicely packaged with some nice extras and a customization option. The G10 scales have a nice grip to them, and I like the reflective strips for customization. I made mine with white on the safe, and red on the bite. This thing is very hefty though, the heaviest bali that I own coming from a world of cnc aluminium handles. The lock arm definitely adds some weight, as do the screws to hold the scales on.The blade screws tend to come loose a little more frequently that I'm used to, and a big con here is those screws are not T10. That decision kind of flabbergasted me tbh - if I had to guess, it's like a T9 maybe. I applied the theadlocker too, there's a big postcard included urging you to do so.So yeah, kind of back heavy, but it has a pleasant muted clicking while flipping it.Not a huge fan of the blade shape, but it is what it is. I would mod it myself but I don't really want to lose more weight from the front without dropping some off the handles first. I might remove the locking mechanism to balance it, not sure yet.If you like this, then you'll love some of the ones in the 70-100 range. This is a good starter, or a good beater. I got this one to flip away from home, to where I don't mind too much if I drop it on concrete.I've included a lil vid of flipping it, I am not all that good but I just thought it might help someone to see it in action.

Screws suck
I want to like it I love the flipping and smoothness but the loctite did not work very well so the screws come loose easily. And the screws also strip very easily. I was only trying to add colors and 3/4 of the bottom screws striped. Ultimately very unpleased

Great Balisong Trainer
This product comes with extra nuts and threadlocker. Also other than just looking fancy, the handles have a little bit of a rough finish that helps with grip. Very good trainer to learn on, especially for the price! The package came in early from the seller and in perfect condition.Very happy with my purchase.

Best trainer on Amazon, great price.
I bought this knife to learn to Bali song as a complete beginner. I’m having lots of fun. The handles feel nice and have a nice texturing with just the right sizing for all hands. I like the colour design and patterns along the handle, adds nice textural variation. The knife is very sturdy with minimal play, it’s made from strong metals with hard plastic handles that feels and is durable. The bearings glide really nice and smooth, though I do hearing some rattling in them after just 3 days.Overall feels great and a great starter trainer that looks and feels awesome. Great for the price. The only reason I’m not giving this 5/5 is that I’m not the biggest fan of the blade design, the bump along the safe side of the blade can hurt a lot and the ‘abstact’ look they’re going for with the blade would look nicer with a standard blade design.

Pretty good first Balisong
I think this is a REALLY good balisong for 50-ish dollars. It came with barely any play, no tap, and some replacement hardware and even a screwdriver, which is pretty cool. It flips well and has some really good grip, but it is HEAVY compared to some really good balisong THIS IS A GREAT BALISONG but it’ll get some getting used to if you use a lighter Bali and changed to this Bali or vice versa, but this is still one of the best Balisong I’ve used for just 50-ish dollars.
