I bought this to finish priming a small garden planter that I made - about 2 ft by 1 ft and roughly 1ft tall. I had primed just under half of it already with the last dregs of a tin of oil-based primer, but thought I would try a spray can for ease of cleanup!This product is really easy - just shaking for a while, then point and spray (having put down newspaper or whatever over a reasonable area!). Cleanup is as simple as spraying the can upside down for a few seconds - no more massaging white spirit into a brush!The coverage is a little less than I was expecting - I ended up using one whole can on about 4 square feet of surface - but I was using it outside on quite a breezy day, so perhaps indoors, more would stick to the surface, rather than being carried away.Finished result looks good, and time will tell how well it holds the top coat I have just applied this morning.

Good primer at a good price. Coverage is good, drying time is fast. Will buy again for upcoming projects

I had a nightmare situation in my bathroom where the ceiling paint kept peeling off. I would spend ages sanding and repainting for it to only peel again overnight, causing me to start the entire process again. This happened multiple times before I decided to try this.This primer made a massive difference and saved me from sanding and painting all over again! It finally fixed the issue. The paint has stayed put with no more peeling. Very grateful for this product as without it I'm sure I would've been re-sanding the ceiling right now.The spray meant it was very easy and quick to apply. Leave your doors and windows open if you can as the fumes are very strong especially if spraying a small indoor area.

The paint is good: very good adhesion; quick drying; dries evenly leveled. The can is bad: continually spurts and stutters. If you're looking for a good primer for wood/MDF I can recommend this. Despite the problems with the can, I'm very satisfied with the finish - the adhesion trumps any negatives for me. However I'll not be considering this brand for my topcoat!
