I was looking for something for every day and snacking and barbeques--was tired of throwing money away on paper plates. My 1st choice quickly became my last choice--instead, choosing these because you can put them in the microwave. They make good serving plates, as well, for a myriad of uses. I also LOVE that they're not round OR square, for that matter. And, these were something I've never seen before so I thought, "why not try" and I am glad that I did. I would highly recommend them to anyone who wants a good value in exchange for your hard earned money.

Our everyday plates are so heavy, so I went to using paper plates most days. But I hate the waste of it, and really don't mind washing the dishes - but mine are just so bulky and heavy. Bought these and my husband and I have been very pleased with them. Love the sides, how they keep food from sliding off. They are very sturdy and easy to clean. My only wish is that they would make a larger version of these plates, for those of us who don't like their food touching :-) But give them a perfect score as is.

I live alone and in my later years the arthritis in my hands and wrists make it harder to deal with heavy ceramic plates. Since it's just me I tend to eat things like sandwiches and simple finger foods. These plates are perfect for me!

My plates of 18 years needed replacing. I chose these because I loved the high sides, and the assortment of colors. I have been very pleased with this purchase. I have had them a month, and they have been in and out of the dishwasher and I have eaten red sauce without staining. For the price, I LOVE these plates.

I bought them to try a few weeks ago and am very happy so far. Am considering replacing my entire stoneware set with them. They are very easy on my arthritis. The shape allows my to relax in my recliner while eating without spilling or tipping. I'm spoiling myself with them.

you just should not use the meet knife to chop on the surface of the plate if you do not want scratches, the dish resists. but if you must use a lot of force it will be scratched

I love these plates, they're great for sandwiches, soup & sandwiches, anything casual that you don't want to use your fine China for. Excellent for homes with kids.

I have a ceramic floor in my kitchen and since I moved here I watched my dish set dwindle rapidly.These don’t break. They are very nice shaped and I have my daily salad and lunch with these.

Love the colours and general idea of a deep plate. Shape is fun and different. The only thing I didn’t like was they are not very wide so are actually quite small for a dinner plate.

This was one of the best purchases I have made this summer. Great for picnics, road trips and proved to be valuable when we went to an air b and b and there was not enough dishes, or serving dishes.
