A great book for beginners to elder’s of Wicca

This is not a one size fits all, it is a rather wide variety of spells, chants, and rituals - it’s filled with information and knowledge, and of course spells. It was my first spell book that helped me learn from all different backgrounds, times & I absolutely recommend if you’re not focusing your practice based off one particular faith, such as Wicca. This has a ton of info from all different ethnic backgrounds. I recommend, it’s historical in a way.

A note to others who may complain about the book.it may be written in a way you don't like to see..you must always remember a book of spells is to give you an idea to write your own spell. So they can pray to a stump it's up to you to use the god you choose. I found this book great for ideas I'm 72 yr old so I've been at this a long time. Listen to my review before deciding to cast off this book as a joke. Some spells need little changing. some need a little more. Good book to have in your library.

The book is fantastic, but did Amazon really have to scratch up the entire cover? It’s such a beautiful book and has scratches all over it. It was in the box alone- so they knew it was damaged and sent it anyway. I’m not happy about this. I’m not going to allow it to affect my rating bc it isn’t the books fault.

GREAT OLD BOOK !!Rewritten ancient spells and reproductions of intricate linoleum cut illustrations.This book is a fascinating read .. whether you believe or not.Many of the *spells* were once alongside other remedies such as how to cure an ear infection with alcohol.This will make a great addition to any collection.

This book was a good little read. I got this for my book collection also looks great.

Actual messages I texted a friend as I began reading this nightmare:Big red flag next to not understanding what voodoo is and is not, the statement, "...no better revenge spell than one from an Italian witches coven, spells about nature and animals are better handled by a soothing native American shamans chant." 😬 Like, why is that? Like, why are you putting everything in a box and making it all bigoted like that.So, those are the ONLY native peoples who have great "nature spells"? Even though, that's not really how north American indigenous natives mysticism works at all lolI get wanting to expand your knowledge outside of European tradition. But you can't just say and use things willy nilly lolAnd then literally using "The Lord Jesus Christ" in "pow-wow" spells"Gypsy potion" good lord, am I going to come across an n-word incantation too?And then there's "American magician spell" what does that mean lol just say they're white lolIs the American magician supposed to be native or white? I literally can't tellWhat do you mean pow-wow spell and then basically typing THE LORD JESUS CHRIST as many actual times as you can??I'd return it if I could.
