Made a sandwich with organic honey for lunch.

Something is really wrong with this product. I threw it in the trash. There was about an inch of oil floating on the top, and the almond butter below was so hard it nearly broke my knife. I tried to use a spoon to stir and it was impossible. Don't buy this product, wasted my money.

This almond butter is really interesting. It is oily like most natural nit betters but also has an interesting texture to it that makes it spread well.It also tastes good. It has a bit of the texture you expect from almond butter but not quite as grainy as most.The SuperStarch thing is interesting. It is supposedly corn starch that is prepared in a way that slows the breakdown into glucose making it a better choice for any sort of nutritional needs where this might be important. It is difficult to know if it all works as advertised but it sounds like a good idea.Overall happy with the "UCAN Almond Butter with SuperStarch - Performance Nut Butter - Unsalted, Sugar-Free Almond Butter - Non-GMO - Keto Almond Butter - Peanut-Free Almond Butter - Creamy - 12oz", it is good almond butter and is likely worth the slightly higher price if the health benefits of te SuperStarch are important to you.

We like almond butter a lot. What we don't like is almond butter with other stuff in it. This almond butter has other stuff.What I like:The flavor of this almond butter is really good. It has nice texture and good almond flavor. A lot of almond butters are bland, but this one is not gritty and can be eaten plain.What I don't like:Superstarch is a fancy way of saying cornstarch. Cornstarch is a thickener, filler, and carb that is just not necessary. Why would you add cornstarch to a perfectly good almond butter?Also, this arrived in a package and the oil from the almond butter leaked all over and I was cleaning up almond butter oil for a couple days. It was not a pleasant experience.

No sugar or salt added, this almond butter consists of only two ingredients—dry roasted almonds and SuperStarch corn starch. The SuperStarch is included to help release energy in a slow consistent manner to avoid spikes and crashes.The pure almond butter flavor is delicious and the only evidence that the corn starch was added was a slight change in texture. The amount of stirring required because of the usual oil separation was minimal—perhaps another benefit of the added corn starch.The j12 ounce jar has a tight foil inner seal to ensure freshness and that it arrives untouched. To estimate shelf-life the Best By date is 11 months in the future but dates will vary. Excellent.

This was disappointing. It did not taste fresh and had a slightly rancid under taste. I have had better from Trader Joe’s and at a lower price.

The UCAN Almond Butter with SuperStarch is an extremely fresh tasting spread. There was very little separation of oil, which is typically found in almond butter. That meant that it was ready to eat without needing to mix it initially. The trade-off is that this almond butter is on the dry side- when you put some in your mouth, the almond butter pulls any moisture away from your checks and tongue, instantly drying your mouth a bit (or so claims my husband who likes almond butter more than I do). This is not a bad thing- it means that there is less oil in the product, and it is therefore healthier to eat.It has a nice, freshly roasted flavor and is lightly salted so it goes well with anything. I’ve had it in oatmeal, waffles, and on a sandwich and find it to be very satisfying. I recommend this product, just with the understanding that it is on the dry side of spreads.
