Great product for making your own vegan egg dishes.

As a vegan, I have found this product the best for making your own version of "Just Egg" egg replacement for omelets and other egg dishes.

Make Plant Based Eggs with this...A lot cheaper than you can buy them.

Soak, blend with salt, garlic, water, a pinch of turmeric, nutritional yeast and an thicking agent of choice. Mine vary but aquafabba is a great alternative. Pour in pan with already heated (plant based) butter, and let thicken. To be honest, you'll be lucky to get it right the first try, but a little Dal goes a long way. One you find your desired texture, you'll be hooked. And it'll cost 80x cheaper than any plantbased egg on the market. Very easy to use, vey clean and excellent for your health. They very much reseamble lentils and cooks similar.

Great Product!!!

I recently purchased moong dal, a type of lentil commonly used in Indian cuisine, and was thoroughly impressed by its quality. I usually purchase my groceries from a local specialty shop, but due to the current pandemic situation, I decided to try an online store. Although the cost was a bit higher compared to the local shop, the convenience of having it delivered right to my doorstep made up for the difference. The packaging was secure and well-labeled, and the product arrived in impeccable condition, which was a relief, as I was worried about the dal getting damaged during transportation. I was especially pleased with the freshness and texture of the dal. The lentils were uniform in size and consistent in color, indicating that they were of high quality.I used the moong dal to make a traditional Indian dish, and it turned out deliciously. The lentils cooked evenly and had a creamy texture, making them perfect for a variety of recipes. Overall, my purchasing experience was delightful, and I would highly recommend it to anyone seeking top-notch moong dal without leaving their home.

Top-notch organic Moong Dal for various recipes

I've been on the lookout for organic and high-quality Moong Dal for quite some time, and I must say, Jiva Organic Yellow Moong Dal is quite the find. Not only is it USDA certified organic and non-GMO, but it's also vegan and raw, sourced from a certified organic farm in India. The 2-pound pack is quite a value for money, and the split mung beans are perfect for making Ayurvedic kitchari or any other dish that requires Moong Dal. I also appreciate the fact that Jiva Organics donates one meal to a child in need for every pack sold, which is a nice touch of social responsibility. As for the quality, the beans are clean and cook up nicely. They have a naturally sweet flavor and soft texture that absorbs the flavors of the spices and seasonings I use in my recipes. I've tried these beans in a variety of dishes, and they've consistently turned out delicious and satisfying. One question I had initially was about the organic certification, given that the product is imported. After doing some research and contacting the seller, I learned that the certification is verified through authorized USDA Organic Program (NOP) certification agencies. It's nice to know that the product lives up to its claims. In summary, if you're in search of a high-quality, organic Moong Dal that tastes great and is suitable for a range of recipes, Jiva Organic Yellow Moong Dal is definitely worth trying. I'll be ordering more in the future and recommending it to friends and family!

Great quality!

I really love mung beans both sprouts and bean paste, however where I live it is hard to find either of them and usually, they are way overpriced if you do find them. So I learned how to make my own paste and when I found this product I was skeptical at first but I thought I'd just give it a try. when I got them I immediately tried making the paste for filling my homemade mochi. I did every step correctly and the end result was astounding! I recommend using a sieve after mashing them up in a food processor if you want the smoothest texture but I know some like them chunky. The taste is amazing! Just like what I grew up with. I was also really surprised by how clean these beans are! You barely have to wash them before soaking because the water only comes out a little cloudy and then becomes clear after just 2 rinses. I really recommend this product if you want to make your own mung bean paste.
