Keeps squirrels off birdfeeder
Squirrels do not touch this birdseed. Birds are not bothered by the “hot” seed.

I was skeptical… until I used this
A friend told me about birdseed treated w/ jalapeños and other scaldingly fiery peppers. “The squirrels won’t touch it, but birds don’t mind the heat.” I was skeptical “Oh, sure! A squirrel-proof food??” I was wrong!!! No squirrel goes near the bird feeders. Birds love this chow!Just one warning: if you touch the food, or if your hands come in touch w/ the inside of the bag, don’t touch your eyes; when pouring it, don’t inhale. The pepper in the food really irritates eyes & noses. a

Deters squirrels but expensive
Expensive bird see, but I can’t find in local stores and it does not appeal to squirrels

Squirrels hate it !!!
Keeps those pesky squirrels away from my bird feeder ! I mix 1/3 Blazing hot with my regular bird food and so far it works - have been using for 3 years now.However, I think some squirrels have an amazing tolerance for spice because not everyone I have recommended it to works for their squirrels even at 100% blazing hot seed but that has not been my personal experience.

Birds, love this
My only problem with this seed is it has a lot of filler which attract dove lots of Dove and they tend to take over the birdfeeder, but my Cardinals do love it too, but I did find a really love the black oil sunflower seed, so I will be getting more of that I wish it came in a hot blend.
