This is the most amazing little soap dryer...nothing else comes close to keeping my bar of soap dry. Which I would guess, this is doubling the life of my bar of soap. That means that compared to my old soap dish that always had soft, mushy, and scummy soap on the bottom of my soap dish, THIS JUST CUT THE EFFECTIVE PRICE OF ALL OF MY BARS OF SOAP IN HALF! Incredible. I can hardly believe it. Buy it.UPDATEOk folks, if you are looking here, then it is because you want to buy something that will keep your soap DRY. DRY! DRY!! You do not need anything else but DRY. You do not need to care about how it looks, or feels. It SIMPLY MUST WORK. Well, you know that every soap dish that you have ever own , seen or used did not keep the soap DRY. And because the soap was wet, it dissolved away 5 times or 10 times faster. Look no further. This looks like (forgive me) plastic ramen noodles or plastic dried pasta. It is hard and it doesn't bend, though it is pliable plastic. Buy this with confidence that it will MAKE your soap dry. Yes, and you WILL buy several more for each sink and basin. Trust me, these are spectacular (did I just say that about a soap dish??) Enjoy...

Good idea! Product keeps my soap intact without "melting" in the soap dish. Washing the "lift" is easy (just run under warm water). Occasionally, there will be a small amount of water which accumulates at the bottom of the soap dish but the soap bar remains in perfect shape. I will order again.

I’ve had mine now for over a year. It has never gotten moldy, is very easy to clean and has extended the longevity of my soaps. The fact that it is sheer is nice because it does not look obvious and ugly. It blends with my shampoo nook.

I keep a very clean shower, but this grew mold quickly and when I bleached it the mold stain didn't fully come out. Bleaching it also changed the color from clear to a hazy yellowish color. It went into the trash.

I have one of those pre-made shower stalls that has a plastic sort of feel to it (not quite sure of the material). Even though it has shelving, my soap was getting mushy on the bottom and this really helps to prevent that, making bars last longer. Pretty happy with the clear one and how it looks in the shower.
