The soft side face out and hard side is applied to the Velcro. See below picture. How pad is applied.

They do a great job!

Easily replace a dirty pad with a new one that actually stays on. Cuts my cleaning time by half and I can dispose of the dirty one immediately, no storing dirty rags! Love it!

Love this.....but its way too big

Love the base buddy & needed refills badly. They arrived super fast & the price is great!! However....when I tried to put the replacement in...its very awkward because it's just too long. I'm still messing around with the size to make it somehow fit...but it looks like I'm going to end up cutting a couple of inches off each one. I read the reviews & saw others saying it was too big....but I bought them anyway thinking.....how bad can it be? LoL. Well, gotta go.... lots of cutting to do! Still think base buddy is GREAT!
