The console worked great, but it sometimes disconnect or mispaired with the dongle. As I contacted customer support, they replied in 6 hours, and my problem was resolved in a day. Super friendly and I hope the software can be improved over time.

The one I got would drain the battery very fast. It could be they are using cheap batteries or some of these are old/ reused stock with new firmware. No point in keeping it if you have to charge it everyday, or in-between working on your cars. These units have no date stamp on them- buyer beware! Also this is not part of Amazons "Free Returns" (when I bought this, it may go in and out of that policy) So plan on waiting a long time for a refund or fighting for your money back.Other than that, the unit is rock solid and the software is top notch (I believe its a skin over Launch's software). The same goes for the brands - TopDon and MuCar. If you don't need the expandable modules and camera, the MuCar units look to be newer, the one I got has great battery life and faster in operation.

I haven't used it too much yet because I just got it. I like the size and operation of the unit. I think some of the built-in gadgets such as the talking, the slot machine VIN search, and the "scanning" of the car are not necessary. Okay, now to the buyer beware. I researched this tool pretty thoroughly and nowhere did I find the mention of the $49.95 annual fee PER manufacturer to have the bidirectional dianostic control. Although it was advertised as free lifetime updates. So out of the box it only works as a read and clear codes and data reader. I haven't used any of the reset features.

this does absolutely nothing that you cant do for free from any auto parts store. interface never works, network issues no matter if connected to the internet or not. it wont scan either of my tahoes or my scion. just a big paperweight. do not buy this!!!!!!! issue after issue to not work and its only 3 months old. garbage!!!!!

I emailed before purchasing to see if it would work with my 2016 Volvo XC60. It would do most of the diagnostic but a lot of the service features were not supported. I had also asked about support for my 2002 VW Passat & was told it was supported however it would not even connect. I’m highly disappointed as I really like the features & that it came with lifetime updates. I’ll be sending this back & trying something else.
