When I was buying this knife, I wanted a review from a working chef…couldn’t find one. I bought it and I am a working chef, here’s a quick review.The knife is commercial kitchen worthy, super sharp, nice edge, the weight is dispersed well. Not too heavy (or lite) and well balanced.

I gave this to my brother in law for Christmas. It came in a decent box for gifting. The knife is definitely an eye catcher and cuts really well. He has since told me it’s become his favorite knife.

Purchase the knife as a gift for a friend. It is an absolutely stunning piece of art. However, I don’t think the balance is very good for using for a chef knife. I think it will be good for carving meat, but not very practical for other uses, still a good value for the money

I was really bummed to find out it’s not labeled truthfully not real Damascus has a weak cutting edge after the first week I bought it specifically for vegetable use only it is a beautiful knife no doubt
