You should find that one of these wrenches fits the aerator perfectly. In my case the burgundy wrench was the right one for the 1.8 gpm aerator.

These little gems are the crux of bathroom repair. I moved and needed to clean the screen of build up for our new tub. While I was able to get the screen off, in the process of putting it back on the teeth are fairly marred. Used caution with iron and calcium build up.

I only used the 16.5 key, but purchased the set. My faucet filter was running slow and there was miineral build-up around the edge of the faicet tip. After removing the outside mineral deposits, I inserted the key which was at first little difficult to place. Finally getting the key in place and flush, I moved the filter a little and then back and forth a little. I was not sure which to turn; after running the water again, I tried again and again until the filter finally loosened up enough to be removed. Actually, I was amazed that none of the key parts bent. Important to keep key fully inserted and flush when turning. Highly recommended.

Our new bathroom faucets periodically need to have the aerator removed to clean out trapped debris. Unlike the old faucet aerator, the new faucets require a special tool to remove them. This aerator tool comes in different sizes which is good. So far, this tool works just fine. I just don’t understand why the manufacturers can’t just come up with one standard size that fits all faucets.

People listen, if you have minerals in your water. You can place a 1/4 to a 1/2 of cup of WHITE VINEGAR in a plastic bag and tape it to the faucet over night so the head of the faucet is COMPLETELY soaking in the vinegar.This will break down the minerals and allow you to use this tool with no issues, and remove the aerator.Then soak the aerator more if needed.Add vinegar to a bowl and soak shower heads as well.Toilet not flushing great anymore?Turn toilet water off and flush. Add a gallon of vinegar to upper tank and flush once! Let the bowl rim soak over night. This will loosen up build up inside the porcelain rim. In the morning, turn on water and flush.The tool works just fine.

These things get the job done but if you have a stuck cartridge these keys might be a chore. They are thin and the teeth are a bit weak. If your using this once or twice out of the blue then its a non-issue, but if your relying on these often I would look for a better set.
