Philips Voice Tracer DVT8010 Meeting Recorder with Wireless Remote Control

Ordered it and was anticipating its arrival. Plugged it into my computer through the USB port and the unit was dead on arrival. There was no manual for the product included in the box nor could I find instructions online except on YouTube. However, I don't speak Arabic so that was a useless enterprise. Philips products are usually a good purchase. After this disappointment, I bought an Olympus Digital Voice Recorder that filled my needs. Philp's​ quality control was definitely sub-par on this.

Very nice recorder. I have 5 different brands but this is the only one that will record while being plugged in.So you can record for a week of you have a big sd card. Haven't had a need for the conference mic yet but it's almost as much to buy it as the whole package so good deal.

I wanted a highly portable, feature rich, well built recorder for various usage. I regularly use for lecture and meetings. DVT8010 fits all these requirements. Recordings are of high quality, battery lasts long time. Very happy with it. Can't go wrong with Philips. Highly recommended.

I love this I plan to use it for Dragon Naturally Speaking because my hands are borderline useless due to essential tremors like I write like I'm like 1 years old and I can't type but I have a lot of thoughts so this is great

Not good with white noise or distance, even on those settings.

Very pleased with this voice recorder. Initially not easy setting it up and would recommend more information to be added to the quick set up. However, excellent quality recordings and I definitely recommend it!!!

Worked just once, tried charging it and the device just simply didn't turn on, fiddly controls compared with other high end recording models. Returned and opted for another brand and model, very pleased with the alternative.

Nachdem ich mich eigentlich sehr über die durchaus guten Bewertungen dieser scheinbaren Weltfirma gefreut hatte bestellte ich mir dieses Gerät . Musste leider nachdem ich 2 Tage lang ein Hörbuch vertonte feststellen dass nach abändern des Titels über den Rechner Explorer dieselben nicht mehr angezeigt wurden und somit nicht mehr abgespielt werden konnten. Ein Anruf bei diesem "sehr " speziellen Kundendienst brachte mir die Aussage dass man sich darum kümmern würde ,und man mich benachrichtigen würde . Dies traf innerhalb fünf Tagen nicht zu , warum auch die dachten wohl das Geld haben wir ja kassiert . Daraufhin bestellte ich weil ich ja glücklicher Weise über Amazon bestellte ein Ersatzgerät , welches wie von Amazon gewöhnt schnellstens angeliefert wurde . Erfolg , das neue Gerät hat denselben Serienfehler obwohl hier die Firmware bereits zum Gerät zuvor ein Update bekommen hatte. Also würde ich annehmen Philips kann übliche Grundlagen , welche ich wenigstens verlange nicht in dieses Gerät programmieren lassen. Komme somit zu dem Schluss solltest du mehrere Dateien aufnehmen wollen vergiss dieses Gerät denn nach Aufnahme Datum welcher natürlich als Zeitstempel geschrieben wird ohne Namen zu sortieren wird schnellstens unübersichtlich , und somit dieses Gerät überflüssig .Aber vielleicht sieht ein Ansprechpartner von Philips diese Bewertung , die so lange bestehen bleibt bis dieses behoben wurde. Und vorher rate ich dir von diesem Gerätekauf ab .Update 30.12.2017Mußte weiterhin feststellen daß dieses Gerät mir bisher 3 mal innerhalb einer längeren Aufname eingefroren ist heißt im Klartext du kannst NICHTS mehr damit machen , nicht einmal mehr ausschalten nur der "brutale" Hardware Reset war noch möglich .
