Liked flavors
I tried 3 of the packets thus far and we liked all of them; easy to use with simple ingredients to add. The price was a little more than I wanted to spend, and they shorted me one flavor packet and never responded to my inquiry so a little disappointed with the service. Overall would recommend for busy people wanting to put together healthy meal with easy prep.

My new fave seasonings!
I recently purchased the variety pack and made the Moroccan pita wraps. They were so easy to makeand were delicious! I also made the Pad Thai chicken for my family and it was a hit with everyone. I’m looking forward to trying the other flavors.

Great tasting and easy to use
These seasonings make cooking easier. You reach for a single box and you know you're going to get the right seasoning for whatever type of dish you're creating...much easier than pulling together 5 or 10 different individual spices. That could be time-consuming, especially If you're like me and you have a lot of spices to look through. I could spend 5 or 10 minutes trying to dig out the fenugreek for Indian food, for example. Having these handy saves all that foraging.I feel like the price is reasonable at $10. That's basically $2 a box. It's not dirt cheap but it's also saving you time and effort in the kitchen.

Great That They Offer Alternative Uses But From Security Standpoint I Do Not Use QR Codes
Review of Seasoning Mix & Recipes – Variety (5 Pack). Gourmet pre-measured spice packets - Southwest Seasoning, Indian Seasoning, Caribbean Seasoning, Asian Seasoning, Moroccan Seasoning sold by Herbs2me Products Corp. All packets had the same Best By date which was approximately 7 months from date of receipt.Have not been able to test every packet yet so will update once I get caught up. So far I only tested the Southwest and Moroccan Seasoning blends. I am also using the primary recipe since this is a sampler pack from a company that I have never tried before.Southwest Seasoning – I didn’t have any ground beef at the time so I tested with chicken. There was a slight amount of heat but otherwise was relatively bland. I believe that I would have enjoyed this more with ground beef.Moroccan Seasoning – the packet shows a different dish then what the recipe is for so I wasn’t sure how much “slightly thickened” should be. However, I should also point out that I have leftovers which should be left a bit thinner since this will thicken during cooling so what is just right tonight is too thick tomorrow. I cheated a little as I do not have olives around (not really a fan except when cooked into something) and used a little extra diced tomato as I had two 14.5 ounce cans instead of a single 28 ounce can. The flavor was milder than expected but pleasantly so.Caribbean Seasoning – used this to make the Caribbean Shrimp Penne and this came out great and really liked the flavor although a lot of the flavor also comes from the cheese. Canned coconut milk is expensive so some alternatives would include heavy cream or condensed milk. When cooking use a bigger pan than you expected to need. Penne will expand a bit when cooking and the penne is cooked when in the pan with the coconut milk and chicken broth. The suggested meal makes many servings.Indian Seasoning – made the suggested coconut chicken curry. This was also very mild but tasted nice. Same as with the shrimp penne above this calls for coconut milk although only 14 oz and once can substitute for this. The recipe and contents of the packet did not mention adding parsley although the image shows this. I tossed in some fresh parsley after cooking and some green onion. Please note that this may also thicken so if anticipating using leftovers one probably should not thicken the broth very much.Alternative recipes or uses are available but this would require scanning QR codes and my security practices do not allow this. Most of the time there are no problems but QR codes can install various malware packages, steal user or contact data, phishing attacks, etc. Not worth the risk.EDIT: The additional recipes can currently be found on the Herbs2Me website.Asian Seasoning – since everything else came out pretty well I decided to use this to make General Tso chicken using the recipe on their website. This was the best of the five packets of seasoning. Had to use barbeque sauce as I didn’t want to buy a bottle of hoisin sauce for just two tablespoons. Probably should add some parsley on top of this as well.

good flavor
I really enjoyed these flavor packets. I love that they don't have salt (my body swells with too much salt) and that instead I can add it if I wish. The flavors are good. They're easy to use. I appreciate that instructions for a recipe are included on the back of the packets. This is a variety pack of 5 different seasoning packets. That breaks it down to almost $2 a packet. More than the packets you'd buy at your grocer. But since these don't have salt and are strictly herbs and spices, I'd lean towards purchasing them. It's definitely a healthier option which I appreciate.

Nice Recipe Adventure
Buying these is like buying an individual recipe, and a mystery mix of spices so that you can't repeat it with your own cupboard spices. For the price, this is a good deal in the end... you have to provide a lot of ingredients yourself, and it may require a moderate amount of skill in the kitchen - this would be hard to do if you're not used to cooking. The flavors are hit and miss. The taco seasoning is quite boring and just a silly inclusion when considering the massive tubs of taco seasoning that you can buy at much more economical prices. The coconut chicken curry, on the other hand, is excellent. I cook a lot of curry, and this is one of the best sauces I've ever cooked at home - it's somewhat frustrating to me that I don't know the exact mixture of spices, so I won't be able to repeat this experience without buying the packet again (I suppose that's the point... nice repeat business). Again, you have to provide mostly your own ingredients. The sauce doesn't thicken up as well as other recipes, and the chicken is lacking flavor and is a bit dry (because it isn't a yogurt marinated tandoori chicken like what the restaurants use), but the flavor is better than any frozen or refrigerated coconut curry I've tried. This is a very good introduction to home curry cooking. The pad Thai is not my cup of tea - the included recipe doesn't produce enough sauce (not nearly enough) for the amount of noodles it instructs you to cook, and the peanut element is really lacking. I had to add more of a different sauce to make this dish good.Overall, this is priced well at $1.40 per packet to give it a shot. They're fun to cook, and gave me ideas on how to do these myself but a bit differently. It's inspiring to cook for yourself with these types of packets, and they're better than most.I ordered these in May 2022, and the packets are all marked best by December 2023, so 19 months expiration from order. Blended and packaged in the USA, but the country of origin for the spices is not indicated.
