Okay, so it’s early in my ownership of these bad boys but I have to say, they are the greatest Godsend that could have been buried on page 6 of Amazon.I have been looking for bar stools for months and have been so frustrated that my house was so close to being complete minus the stools. Then I found these. Not only did I assemble each stool (4) in 5 minutes, but they are insanely high quality for the price. Obviously it’s early so things may change with wear and tear but for the price, I’m beyond thrilled. I ate a full rack of ribs tonight while sitting on them and I was just the happiest clam. I’ve included photo evidence in case you don’t believe me.July 17, 2019 Update: Wow these chairs are still absolutely slaying the seat game in my house. No signs of wear and tear and I’ve only fell backwards on it one time. I have to admit that it was my fault as I’m prone to rocking in whatever I’m sitting in. I like to move my legs a lot which is probably part of the reason why I’m able to eat so much barbecue and not gain substantial weight. I’ve been fit my entire life and really don’t work out too much these days. I do, unfortunately, now have high cholesterol which is something I’m thinking about working on. Chairs are still great.May 10, 2020 Update: Wow, things have changed. I miss July of 2019. I miss how carefree life was back then. I miss being able to say goodbye to my barstools in the morning and greet them again at night. Being quarantined has been tough BUT I can’t imagine it without these stools. I have taken at least 40 Zoom meetings in these stools and have podcasted 4 times from them. Still no wear and tear and I’m very grateful to have a platform like these stools to be productive on. I do miss freedom though. I missing not thinking about germs when greeting people. Geesh.December 12, 2021 Update: unfortunately this will be my final update. I bought a house with my wife! Oh yeah, I got married too! The condo is pretty nice although it feels more like an apartment+. No yard and no driveway which is a bummer, but I’m happy to be under a roof with walls. Greg, the other pictured rib eater, and I are still best friends and now we work together! It’s been going so well! Here’s where the story takes a turn. We don’t have a bar anymore. I tried to make it work for a few months. The stools were moved multiple times, each time, my heart sank a little more. My wife knew how much I loved them so she really let me try to figure it out. I couldn’t. It was time to part ways. They were still immaculate. I was heartbroken to see them go but I found the BEST home for them. A family with two young kids adopted the stools and took them home one rainy winter night. I’m not ashamed to say that I stood in the rain as they drove away, thinking I was Hillary Duff in some 2001 era movie about losing love. I do think about them pretty often, but I think letting go of things you love is healthy. That’s what I’m telling myself at least. As I write this, my new puppy is sleeping on my lap and my wife is watching Bob’s Burgers as she decorates the house for Christmas. The stools’ presence is still felt and I think they’ll be with me always. Life isn’t too bad. Things come and things go, but the memories of eating ribs, podcasting, taking zoom calls, and spinning for hours will never leave. I love you all and I hope this review helped you decide to add these stools to your home. Goodbye probably forever… or at least until I buy a house with a bar. I just love these stools. They are lightweight yet sturdy, and the seat is very comfortable. They swivel very easily, and raising and lowering the stool is a breeze. They also take up a very small footprint but are by no means small. The seat is wide and the back support although it has a low profile is perfect.I asked a friend to put these two stools together for me, and just as all others have stated in their reviews, putting them together was extremely easy! 4 screws and you're basically done. I believe taking them out of the packaging took the same amount of time it took to put them together and I'm not kidding. 10 minutes for both combined tops! The friend who put the stools together for me decided that she was also going to purchase 4 of them.I also love the non-sweat type material that has the appearance and feel of an expensive soft leather. I've only had them a few days but the material also appears very thick and I believe it will also be very durable. If it turns out in time that the material is not durable, I will come back and provide an update!

Just bought a house and got married, so furniture was not a top priority. Decided to have husband a surprise birthday dinner, but no place for our guest to sit. I ordered these stools because I don't prefer counter height stools. Others may prefer that, so I saw the chairs were adjustable. Purchased on a Friday (8 total). Stools were supposed to be delivered on Tuesday. Planned the surprise party for Friday evening. The stools didn't come on Tuesday or Wednesday. I panicked! Then 6 were delivered on Thursday and then Friday afternoon the last two stools were delivered. The delivery was pushed back a total of 3 days! The great news is, we were able to assemble all eight bar stools in less than 45mins. They were SUPER easy to assemble. I'm still amazed at the look of them. I thought I might hate that they don't have arms, but when we're in the stools we find ourselves leaning forward onto the peninsula and resting our elbows there. It has made our kitchen look complete and our guests comfortable. The brown chairs look great with our dark brown wood floors. I LOVE the matte black vs. the chrome on these bar stools! Great buy! My husband had a great time at his surprise party gathered around the kitchen while our personal chef prepared the food in front of us; similar to hibachi! Overall, I wouldn't change a thing. My husband is 240 lbs and he was comfortable in the bar stool. See recommended weight before you ruin your purchase. We've had the stools for 2 weeks now. They will not get daily use. These were simple to put together. They're sturdy and not cheap looking. They do wear some where shoes and boots would rest, but not bad and that's to be expected. They've held up nicely.

My husband and I were very pleasantly surprised with these chairs! Everywhere you go, most basic stationary chairs go for $250 a PIECE. These were under $150 for TWO that adjust in height, swivel, easy asf to assemble, they're comfortable and very nice looking! I love the foot rest as well. I've added a photo showing the height adjustments available in the chairs from lowest to highest. If you're on the fence, GET THEM! (:

I was sent the wrong product by mistake the first time, so shipping took longer than expected, and the box was pretty beaten up upon arrival, but the chairs were fine, and easy to assemble with only four screws. They look great and feel good, so as long as they last for a good long time, I am delighted.Lincoln & family

Very sturdy soft material and comfortable in my opinion I like the way the look I had them for a few months now came in in good condition and easy to assemble
