KopariKP Body Mitt

Works great

I like Kopari products so I decided to give this exfoliating mitt a try. I have sensitive skin and exfoliate once per week typically using a body scrub and my hand.This is an exfoliating mitt, which means that it has a flat surface to evenly distribute the product while gliding across your skin. it's cream color, and provides gentle - medium exfoliation, the material is a terry cotton fabric and It has a small convenient loop so that you can hang it up.it has a wide opening and, it's short in length but long enough to fit over a hand. With the opening being as wide as It is, it made it a little difficult to keep the mitt from falling off my hand. I had to gently grip it on the inside as I used it because combined with water, that can weigh it down.The mitt can be used on its own with warm water and soap or you can add a body scrub. I used it both ways on different occasions.I added some body scrub to the mitt and exfoliated in a circular motion, the mitt spread the product well but I noticed that it absorbed more of the product and melted it away. I used more product with the mitt than I typically use when I add body scrub to my hand and spread it around. The product foamed up a little on the mitt but it wasn't a lot. The body scrub I use doesn't foam up when applied by hand. This mitt is gentle enough for sensitive skin, it's not harsh or abrasive.In using it with soap and water, it foamed up well and glided easily, with the exception of the mitt not fitting great. My skin was soft after but not as soft as it is when I use my body scrub on its own, however, this is more gentle than my scrub.I rinsed the mitt when I was done, squeezed it out really good, and hung it to dry. The material is durable and didn't rip and held up as I wrung it out. It took a full day for the mitt to dry which isn't good because bacteria can grow easily on exfoliating mitts. I checked it in the morning and in the afternoon, and by night, around the same time I took my shower the night before, it had finally dried.It's a good option for gentle exfoliation, especially if you have sensitive skin. The downfalls are the wide opening and the fact that it doesn't dry easily.

The media could not be loaded.  I use this mitt specifically for areas that need more scrubbing, such as my knee caps, elbows, and the back of my elbows where I tend to have KP. I've been trying to get rid of my KP (Keratosis pilaris) by using body scrubs and have been using it without a mitt. I figured it was time to use one, which seems to do a much better job at scrubbing. I thought it would hurt but when this arrived and I felt it, it seems gentler than I was expecting. I've used other body scrubbing cloths and things where it felt like I was washing myself like I do my dishes - ouch! From the few days of use I noticed certain areas of my skin looks less rough and dry. I don't have kopari body scrubs to use with this but I'm thinking about trying out their scrubs. Overall I am happy with the quality of this - it is quite gentle but not too gentle where it doesn't do anything for your skin. Make sure to hang dry and throw this in the laundry every once in a while - these things can start getting gross sitting in the moist bathroom shower!

This is my first time trying a body mitt – I’ve previously just used loofahs or washcloths. The material on this mitt actually results in the perfect amount of exfoliation – it’s not so rough that it irritates my skin, and not so soft that it’s pointless. You can feel a noticeable difference after showering with this.When paired with a body wash, the mitt does produce a moderate amount of lather – more than a washcloth, but less than a loofah would. The mitt design does make it a little easier to scrub areas of your body like your back.I did find two very minor drawbacks: (1) I use my right hand to wash my whole body, but at the end I transfer the mitt to my left hand to wash my right arm, but the soap is now on the wrong side of the mitt. So, instead of applying more body wash to the other side, I’ve just been holding the mitt like a washcloth when finishing up on my right arm instead. (2) The mitt itself does soak up a fair bit of water, so you will want to wring it out at the end of your shower. I wish the included hook was a little bit longer to give some more flexibility in hanging/drying options.Overall, I’m happy with this mitt, and have enjoyed how much cleaner I have been feeling at the end of every shower!

I have had several brands of exfoliating gloves and mitts. I know that this is not advertised as an exfoliating product in itself. However, to eliminate any confusion, I want to start off by saying that this is less exfoliating than a wash cloth or loofah. This product is not bad by any means, but I think it should be advertised as something other than an exfoliation aid. It is super plush and smooth & creates a rich lather (the same amount of body wash goes much further when used with this). It is really pampering and luxurious. If it was marketed as that, my review would be higher. I know that this product is designed to be used with a body scrub, so I did exactly that as well. I hate to say it, but I feel like it made the experience worse. The mitt is large and it can be difficult and awkward to use at times. It felt like it lessened the effects of my body scrub instead of worked with it. I think that this isn’t a bad product, but it needs different advertising. This is excellent if you want a soft, luxurious lather. Not so much if you’re looking for exfoliation - there are much better materials for exfoliation and/or for use in combination with a scrub. I also feel like a product designed for use with a scrub would be better suited in the glove format so the user has better control.

I like that it isn't too rough on my skin. it feels soft and safe to use on my face!
