Dorco 100 Piece Prime Double Edge Razor Blades

And these DE blades are fantastic. There's not that much you need out of a blade - you want it sharp, smooth, lasts a long time and doesn't cost too much. These blades are all of these things combined:1 - Sharp. Yes. They are sharp out of the wrapped and the stay very sharp for 4,5,6..7 maybe more days.2 - Smooth. Yes. They are very smooth and cut cleanly with no burns or any nicks. These are the most comfortable of all the blades I've tried. Very close, super smooth and more comfortable than anything else.3 - Lasts a long time. Yes. My Dorco PACE-6 would last me months. I replaced them because I wanted to. These DE blades are similar. Other blades I could get 3 shaves and then I tossed them. I get 7 days with these and I change them because I want to, not that I feel the need to.4 - Doesn't cost too much. Yes. At the rate I'm going I will spend around $6 a year for these blades. In my mind... these are practically free!===============================================================================After decades of using multi-blade shavers, I finally decided to give a safety razor a try. And I have noticed a vast improvement over the multi-blade shaver. The DE safety razors are much closer and provide a much smoother shave, but the choice of blades makes a big difference.I've tried a few - most recently Astra, but these blades from Dorco are the best. Plus they hold up better. I can use the same blade for ~5 days on average.* Close* Comfortable* Longer lasting* No nicks or burnHighly recommended!

I haven't written a blade review in some years because I found what I liked (Voshkod) and kept buying them. Unfortunately, Russian blades went up in price due to sanctions so I had to find some new blades. I had tried Dorco blades in samples years ago and was not at all impressed, but these Dorco Prime blades got a lot of good reviews so with them being inexpensive, I thought it was worth trying them. Very impressive! Very sharp and good for several shaves. Smooth, well sharpened. Highly recommended.

blades are great and they even have an old time dispensor to put used blades in which most companies no longer have.i will continue buying these.I have been able to get 3 or 4 comfortable shaves from each blade

I will review only as a person who's currently using Astra & Feather blades. Dorco blades are about as sharp as Astra, and they shave as well as Astra, but I've noticed significantly less cuts, and the blades lasts a bit longer than Astra, too. I love Feather ranzors, but they are far too sharp and even dangerous (I've cut my finger once just by lightly touching it; I had to wear a band-aid for a week).I mean, don't get me wrong; I still love using Astra -can't beat its quality & price ratio- & Feather -very sharp close shaves-(I would give them 4.5/5 stars each), but Dorco are my new go-to blades (5/5 stars) right now.

I bought this pack back in 2020 and as of 2023 I'm still going through them. I have bought sampler packs before where I had to agonizingly go through some absolutely terrible brands just so that I get my money's worth, but these were different. First, I used to buy dorco razor cartridges all the time and felt they did the job. Once I switched over to DE shaving, I saw these and figured I'd give dorco another go after not being too impressed by various other brands I tried. The blades are nice and sharp, but not terribly so like feather blades. My skin gets irritated really easily so it was important to have a sharp blade that wasn't too aggressive. I think these are right in the middle where they are fairly easy-going but will still cut through with little resistance. They might be a little mild for those who are used to quick shaves with few passes though. I have to do 3 full passes going with the grain, across, and against the grain in order to get a close shave. This may vary depending on the person, but I don't think these blades can give a close shave in one pass. Doing more passes isn't a big deal for me though as I tend to shave maybe once or twice a week so I put aside time for it.Only issues I would say is that the sharpness of the blades are inconsistent. I understand that getting 100 of these is likely to result in a few being duds, but I think for a razor blade it is quite important to be 99.99% consistent with the sharpness in a pack like this. I would say out of 100, I've had maybe about 15 of the blades really just tug and have a hard time cutting through. But hey, still a good deal.Overall, I recommend these blades for beginners or those who want a blade that's just slightly on the mild side. Great for shaving everyday, but if you want something really sharp, I'd look elsewhere.
