Good small light source, that should provide a 3easonable uv absorption for small reptiles, by gecko loves it. Is not a heat lamp, so would need a separate heating area, such as acheated rock.

The product works as a light, it does indeed give off light when screwed in and turned on but as for being a heat lamp this is far from the truth and impossible with the style of bulb it is. As for its UV capabilities I have not tested but visually comparing and comparing tortoise activity the Evolighting range will suffice hut this bulb does not. Good for a quick fix if your in a bind but I do not recommend as a full time use bulb and would recommend a sales price of around 8.99 for what your getting. There are better products at better prices, please don't be stung like us fools who needed a replacement bulb fast

These are an excellent alternative to larger, fragile and expensive lights.They have an excellent heat output, last much longer than glass bulbs and don’t shatter when accidentally knocked off the tanks.A plus is their compact size so heat isn’t being lost in heating basking areas and because they last longer and better focus on heating it has made a big difference in my power bill. Basking lamp is made of high-quality glass, includesing durable wick avoid anti-aging and three-dimensional reflection.This bulb is with UVB and it can promote vitamin D3 synthesis, fully absorb calcium, and could provide adequate UVB radiation.This heat bulb is simple and easy to install, just screw it into a standard E27 screw base and you are good to go.All in one it’s a great value using these and they don’t shatter if dropped whereas with glass bulbs they can be nearly impossible to remove the broken base that screws in which is very costly to replace dome lamps.Recommended.

I tested this bulb and it was struggling to hit 1.Whereas neo or any other such as Komodo would hit 9-10 no problem, even after 9 months use they still hit 9 apart from Komodo, terra etc.as for heat, umm what heat might that be?Also how many inches away was this tested and how many hours of use?I certainly would not recommend this to anyone with a vivarium no matter what they are keeping.Indecently, I have a Berber skink ,whom I’ve had for 10yrs.

Great product, well packed, well built, good light and heat output, Idea for those small tanks. I think the price is spot on.

This light will provide the light needed for the gecko during the winter as my house it quite dark in the room where we keep the gecko. It is a good quality bulb.

Heating is a false claim. Really annoying as it brought it for my tortoise and was hoping it would save a bit of money but it's not what I need 😑

We got this bulb ready for the winter. My boys created gecko is doing well with the sunshine from the window but when winter rolls in we don't get as much sunlight in his room, this bulb will provide what the gecko needs.It fitted into the exoterra holder easily and seems to work well.
