These are great for long periods of sanding and not ruining your ears. They’re quite tight fitting (unsurprisingly) so not that comfortable after a while.

Bought for ASD teen who is due to fly soon. He has tried them and he said they are soft to wear, they fold inwards so can fit in a headphones case. I can also see these could be used for other noisy places like events, shooting and maybe even working outside with equipment. They are pretty sturdy and should last a while.

I use these for sensory issues. You can hear sound still bit it's muffled. Teamed with foam ear plugs this is a dream and relaxes me immediately.

These had smaller 'ears' and the things that enable it to fold, also serve to 'adjust' for it it holding on your head -- at whatever angle you fancy fidgeting it to/seems most comfortable at the time.They do press a bit, I wouldn't recommend wearing for very extended periods. I find about an hour is really as long as I want to have them on before taking them off for a short while.They are a bit weird at first -- I found initially I had to sort of re-pressurise my ears before putting them on. But have gotten used to it since.I bought to give my ears a break from ear-plugs for periods. They function for that purpose. I still wear earplugs sometimes.They diminish farm traffic and lorries etc passing my open window enough to be tolerable. I can hear people when they are talking to me and understand what they say, but only if they are looking at me when they are doing it. I'm not likely to hear them when they are talking to me from a different room or from up the stairs with them on -- usually I would. Blocks the sound of laptop fans -- at least presuming you've not got an especially mean one.I have slept with them on before -- napped, probably wouldn't recommend all night. They are quite bulky so you have to be on your back, pretty much, and might have to fidget them around a bit to work.

I actually bought these ear defenders for my dog. He's petrified of fireworks so thought I'd give these a go. They were cheaper than the pet ear defenders so I saved quite a bit of money getting these ones and I'm glad I did because they have been a godsend! I've had them for a couple of years now and he wears them every bonfire night and new year, he is now calm and relaxed...such a difference from before. Quality is good and although not designed for a dog they fit him nicely, he has a big head! I really wouldn't be without them now.

Does cut out the sound to an acceptable level, as too much noise affects my senses.It says they are adjustable but you can't! It just the middle section padding that slides not the frame!

These are very effective. I use them in a wood workshop where some of the sanding/sawing equipment runs at >93db and they effectively reduce this to a very comfortable level. If there is one downside they are a bit tight and not adjustable.. so they soon become uncomfortable just due to pressure on the head.

I got these for everyday use/ when i got to concerts , they’re amazing. I honestly love the sleek design and fit and they don’t give headaches after long usage , it protects your ears perfectly and they look exactly like when i bought them a while ago so you know they’ll last. Also so affordable too which is always a win, I definitely recommend :)
