This is a great dog tag and works especially well on harnesses. I have a 7 pound Chihuahua and was VERY pleased that this was available to fit 3/8" straps. My ONLY criticism with this product is it defaults to 4 lines of engraving and on a thin tag, that makes the font size VERY small. If this was available with only 3 lines of engraving, I would order several more. This font size may not be an issue for the larger size tags.EDIT: I ordered a second one. I love the way these fit on collars and there is no noise from dangling tags. I was happy on the second one they did not add an unrequested 4th line of engraving ("Please help me get home"), as they did with the first one. 4 lines makes the text too hard to read on the small tag. Unfortunately, even though this one only had 3 lines of text, the engraving was not nearly as clear as shown. The text is not centered and the lines are too close together, making the tag hard to read. This is such an awesome concept, if only they could do a better job of the engraving.

Small is perfect size for a cat who pulls tags off. It easily fits over collar buckle and doesn't slide around. The metal is curved to match cat's neck. The text is engraved and printed.

The flexible connected seems a bit flimsy, but I'm going to give it a try. I liked the idea because it didn't dangle and make noise and could still attach his dog tag. I'll see how durable it is in time and get back to use. Well it's a couple months after use and as I thought, the loops are glimsy. If you have an active dog like I do the rings used to attach to the collar will not last long. Method of attaching needs to be more durable. Ive adapted mine myself.

I am using the tags I ordered for emergency identification. (I wanted some form of ID that first responders would see should I become incapacitated while working out, but that wouldn't be a hassle if lost). The engraving on my first tag was left justified, as other reviewers have experienced. I emailed the company prior to my second order and asked them to center the text. They replied the next day and produced the tag as requested. I am very pleased with its sizing, look and, so far, durability. I ordered both a small and medium, and the only difference is in the size of the silicone band; the metal pieces are identical. The small tag fits well on my Timex band, which is ~5/8" wide, and the medium on my Garmin Forerunner 220. Neither interferes with normal wear. The letters are actually engraved, not printed, and you can feel their grooves. After a month of near continuous wear--including in the shower--the tag still looks new.08/2019 UPDATE: Still Great! 15 months later and the band and tag are still in great shape. The band shows no sign of distress and the tag's engraving is just as sharp as when new.

This is the second time we've purchased these tags because we got a new puppy and I wanted to have this same one with the excellent quality. I LOVE how it stops the constantly jangle noise of the tag on the collar. It slides on great and the stretchy black bands work to fit lots of collar sizes. I got the smaller size and we have toy size dogs so the collars are slim, but they do stretch. I would recommend!

Only 4 stars ... We wish the engraving shows up a bit darker - like it does in the pic as advertised. We picked the correct size for our tiny pooch. The bands are like a thick rubber band as this makes for a simple way to put the tag on the collar. It also helps the tag stay in place. We really like the fact that it is not heavy at all. Little dogs should not be wearing heavy tags! The tags all come off when we throw the collars in the wash. This is the main reason we purchased this particular tag - to make it easier on us. Now the real test .. how long will the engraving last (rub off?) or how long before the rubber band wears down or gets snapped off while the dog is playing with another of his kind? We'll update if and when this happens.

I ordered this and filled out the order form with my pet's information as instructed. When the tag finally arrived it was exactly as shown in one of the example photos. Exactly, as in they sent me the sample with the pet name 'Bandit' (not my pet's name), an address on "Moonbeam" (not my address) and two phone numbers that are nowhere near mine. I gave them 2 stars just for the ease of the refund, I sent a message to return it and they simply refunded the purchase price and did not require me to send the tag back to China.The seller then contacted me and asked if they could send me the correct tag with the information I had entered originally. They did and a new, correct tag arrived a week or so later. I gave them two more stars for going above and beyond in trying to correct the issue.

I love the idea of this. It fits perfectly on my dogs collar. I have an 8 lb Chihuahua. So, his collar is fairly small, not quite 1/2" thick in the width, about the width of the tag. It was super easy to put on. My only complaint is that the lettering being so small is hard to see. In the ad picture, the letters look much darker than they are (on the tag). So, as long as someone with good eye sight finds my dog, they'll know whom to call. I was hoping dirt will fill in the etching. I'm checking into a paint or dye to rub across and fill it in. Otherwise, it fits my needs. I purchased it so in the middle of the night his tags wouldn't jingle and wake us up. Now, if we can do something about those ears slapping when he shakes his head and stretches, we'll be all set ;)

Not impressed with the quality as it stretched before we even went for a walk with it on her collar. Printing is so small you can't read it.I would not recommend this product.
